Why the Owner Chose Brainerd
We love having the Antique Log Lodge in the area that it is. It is more peaceful and quiet and slow paced than the city setting that some lakehomes are in. You don't wait in line at the restaurants for dinner and the lake is very quiet with motor traffic, especially during the week. The trees are of the variety that are straight and tall, and this property is heavily wooded. Our guests are treated with the utmost care, with special requests always being met.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We take really good care of our guests. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook gourmet meals, or just a great bbq meal. We supply all the charcoal and firewood for your campfires. We stock the old fashioned Coke machine with soda, juice, and water. We are convinced that it is the little things that matter to our guests. We treat them like we would like to be treated. The Antique Log Lodge is full of history. Our guests come from all over the country to stay and leave with great memories and a song in their heart.

We rented Antique Log Lodge for our annual family vacation. There are 14 of us including 5 children under the age of 5. The Lodge has the "Summer Camp" feel with it's log structure, comfy furniture, large open porch and beautiful carved stools. There is plenty of open green space outdoors for the children to play on and the fishing off the dock is great! Loons are plentiful on the lake and an eagle made a daily visit. The hot tub and sauna were put to good use, especially during the days we had cooler weather. We ended each day with a bonfire (ample fire wood provided) and star watching. Host Sandy Spanier was there to greet us and show us the ropes. She takes a lot of pride in the Lodge.
