Enjoy your vacation in a cottage that is comfortable in any type of weather. There is a great deck for meals outside when the weather is sunny, lots of windows and ceiling fans in every room. But there is more… a furnace provides warmth for the cooler days that can come early in the season, and central air provides cooling for those occasional hot days in the summer when even the sea breeze seems too warm. It is always comfortable!
One bedroom has a double bed, and the other has twins...and both offer dresser drawers for storage. Additionally there are two single futons to stretch sleeping capacity to a max of six people. Bedding and bath towels are provided. The house has a fully equipped (eat-in) kitchen and a comfortable living room with TV/DVD. The large back yard has plenty of room for outdoor games, as well as a gas grill and picnic table for summer meals. A washer and dryer are available in the basement.
The Beaches – Located in the Crescent Beach Association, the cottage provides access to two beaches nearby. Crescent Beach is a lovely private beach on Niantic Bay, just about six blocks and an enjoyable walk away. Crescent Beach has a great snack bar which is open for breakfast and through the day for easy meals in flip-flops and a swimsuit. In addition, your rent will provide you with a pass to McCook Park which is just beyond Crescent Beach on the bay. McCook Park offers another beach, rest-rooms, picnic areas, play equipment and parking for guests.

We have long enjoyed the Connecticut shore as a vacation spot and particularly enjoy relaxing on the beach and boating on the bay. In fact, we liked this area so much that several years ago we moved here full time and live just three miles distant from the cottage.

Wonderful place to spend 5 weeks as we await the birth of our grandchild! Owners were gracious and helpful. Cottage had all we needed; very comfortable and clean. Great deck in the backyard for grilling and enjoying all the birds in the area. Loved the easy walk down to the Sound and around the neighborhood. Owners left a book with all kinds of helpful information. Niantic is charming and a good place to branch out to other lovely areas in Connecticut. Easy train ride into NYC as well. Would love to come back jed and laura
