Why the Owner Chose Burnt Store Marina
My close girlfriend brought me to Burnt Store Marina several time after she and her husband bought a house there several years ago. Just on a lark the last time I visit there with her we went to look at some condo open houses. I had always said that the only way I was going to buy was if it look out on the ocean so that I could get up every morning and go out on the lanai and drink my tea. When I walked into this condo, I new that it was exactly what I had been looking for. Although I hadn't planned on buying for several years, I just couldn't pass this one up.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
This condo has fantastic views of sunsets over the ocean. I couldn't believe how beautiful the sunsets could be until first time I saw one. It also has a marina where you can bring your boat or rent one and a 27 hole golf course.

I am a school district Treasurer/CFO in Ohio. I sail, scuba and snow ski. The snow skiing was a way to get me out of the house in the winter. I hate the cold but I needed to be more than a couch potato during the winters in Ohio. I have been in love with the ocean since I was a teenager spending a summer with my father in Hawaii. I've taken yearly treks to the Caribbean to relax and to scuba dive. I found that being on the water quieted my soul. I have no other explanation for the way that I feel on the water. I would have chosen to find a retirement home in the Caribbean so that I could scuba, but transporting three cats back and forth just wouldn't work, so I started looking in Florida.

We stayed in this condo the week between Christmas and New Years 2011. What a beautiful home! There were many special touches that made us feel at home. Rosalie was thoughtful enough to put up a Christmas tree for our kids, which was really appreciated. The unit itself is comfortable an spacious, and we loved the location. The building was extremely quiet. The pool & hot tub were lovely and very convenient. The view from the lanai was gorgeous! It was nice go out there in the morning & read, and enjoy the amazing sunsets in the evening. It was fun watching all the birds fly by. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone considering a Burnt Store Marina rental. We hope to return again soon. Thanks, Rosalie!

As a vacation rental owner myself, I have fairly high standards and expectations and this property exceeded my expectations. The view, the amenities, and the appointments are everything as promised and more. I so enjoyed my last stay, I am returning for a second visit very soon and looking forward to it. The condo is very easy to call your home for a nice visit. Everything needed is there and worked out well. The view is great...the basement parking is close....walking and biking is fun around the Burnt Store Marina and residential areas.....There is a great restaurant about a block away at the marina. The pool is directly next to the building and is in great shape, clean and well furnished....the pool area includes gas grills you can use for cooking. (the closest public beach is in Punta Gorda) and 13 of our 14 day stay the sun was out and the temperature in the 80's. Burnt Store is midway between Punta Gorda and Ft Myers (with Naples being not too far south of Ft Myers).....Lots of tourist opportunities for day trips.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

I had an excellent time in Rosalie's condo...from my first night of the sunset to the final setting of the sun..it could not have been better. The condo is just as it appears. It is clean and spacious and great for more than one person...my girlfriend, husband and son all came at various times and all loved it. Having a great variety of DVDS and books to read made for fun as well. The kitchen is very well equipped. The layout great for separation and quiet time. We visited Cao Costa; did the Peace River tour and would recommend a visit to the Peace River Rehab Centre in Punta Gorda Ponce De Leon Park as a great way to connect to a good cause; helping injured birds get back to the wild. We also took in a Blue Jays training game in Dunedin...and went oft to Key West for a couple of days. This location is central to so much in the area but makes for a quiet retreat to come back to. We hope to come back to Burnt Store again and would book this unit.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

This condo worked perfectly for us and was completely as described in the listing. It was spotlessly clean, the owner was very cooperative, the view from the screen porch was distant but gorgeous. It has all ammenities and is cheerily decorated. The back bedroom is dark and a bit stark but all we did was sleep in it and the bed was comfy so we didn't care.

My husband and I are so delighted we had choosen to stay at Rosalie's condo. From the minute we checked in we knew we were going to have a peaceful, enjoyable stay. It was beautifully decorated and clean. It had all the amenities you could ask for. The view was absolutely breath taking. The sunsets were stunning. Frank & I look forward to staying here again.
