Why the Owner Chose Venice Beach
I am an Australian who traveled the world searching for a locale that embodies a blend of artistic expression, community, diversity and sophistication -- set in an urbane yet gorgeous coastal setting. For me Venice is IT. I chose this specific location in Venice -- because it part Bondi Beach (in Sydney), part Greenwich Village (in NYC) and part childhood holidays. Always on a bike, lathering on sunscreen, wearing flip-flops, body surfing, outdoor showers, happy, warm, relaxed, welcoming people -- everywhere. It is on the best strip of beach, on a quiet walk-street, adjacent to the canals and steps from fabulous dining and galleries. All who have rented from us have wanted to move here. Seriously.
