  Working with the owner was a pleasure! She was most helpful and I now have a new friend! The property was very clean and well-maintained. We loved our rooms and bathrooms. We loved sitting out on the decks and going for walks near the property. The suggestions for places to eat were also most helpful! Yes! We would recommend this property to friends and relatives. Some of us are considering bringing our family back to this house!! We loved the Mexican food restaurant "in the bus" in West Yellowstone! Just delicious!! We took advantage of traveling to Yellowstone everyday, and down to Jackson, floating down the river!! Thank-You for opening your home to us! God Bless You.

  Excellent. Was pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen stocked with everything we needed including spices. The dining table was awesome seated 12 people and we could look out through the sliding door at the woods. The swing outside was fun. Overall, the cabin was spacious, clean , well maintained and gave a great outdoors feel to the whole vacation. Was conveniently located. Would definitely recommend to large families or groups.

  Home was lovely; within 5 miles of West Yellowstone. 5.5 bedrooms with 5 baths, fully stocked kitchen, wireless, beautiful scenery, washer / dryer. Really nice place. Place was very clean, well maintained. I'd definitely recommend. If you can, try the Woodside Bakery - great lunch sandwiches.

  The house was great for our needs. All had their own beds/baths. Large kitchen/dining room which was great because we cooked at the house. Good access to the Park and West Yellowstone. Nice TV area for those who wanted to watch the Olympics.

  Our first extended family trip was a success. The cabin was nicely furnished and well stocked with everyday items such as cooking pots/pans/utensils/outdoor grill and spices. There was never a wait for the bathrooms because there was plenty. Nice big kitchen and eating table. The pictures does not do it justice. Just 10 mins from town and the West entrance. Some of the showers were smaller, but there were two that were oversized. Nice TV but I think the connection to the dvd was bad because it was mono-colored. Internet was decent enough to check emails. I tried watching olympics highlights but it was too slow.

  Pros Nice location and good size cabin for a group of families/friends. Kitchen is fully equipped with top class utensils. Kids loved the nature creek that runs thru the backyard. Clean & well maintained cabin. Cons Hot water capacity for shower not enough even for 3 families with small kids. Shower stalls are tiny and uncomfortable. Couldn't get a comfortable hot shower at the end of a long day of trek/activity. Wifi did not work due to bad weather. Bit expensive for the expected value.

  Owner response: I greatly appreciate the time any guest takes to post a review and appreciate all the great things said about the cabin. I would like to take the time to address his concerns. This cabin sleeps 12 - 14 people on a regular basis every time it rents. I have had this home in my company for over 5 years and have never had anyone complain of running out of hot water. There are 3 hot water tanks in this home! I also checked with the folks who rented right after this guest and they had no problems with the hot water and they had a full house. I do agree that 3 of the the 5 showers are narrow and larger folks will not fit comfortably, but the other 2 showers are huge ~ so that could be easily accommodated. The internet in our rural area is very tempermental. We have tried several companies, and the one we have now is the best we can get. I do not charge for the internet and its service can be restricted by weather, which we have no control over. When the weather is good, the internet works great! I hope this helps future travelers in their decision to visit this home.

  We rented a few cabins -they were all close together and this was 'headquarters' - an awesome place for a large group! Hope we can do it again soon!

  This was the first time we have ever rented a home for vacation...Our experience was great and even moreso very memorable. The Red Cedar Cabin provided the comfort needs for our family! For a large family, this property gave us the space and the coziness for all of us to enjoy our Yellowstone Vacation. We will not hestitate to rent this property again! Thank you so much!!!

  Katie, Wanted to let you know that we had a great time in the Red Cedar Cabin last week. The beds are great and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The only problem we had was some of our group had trouble climbing the stairs and that's our problem not yours! We ended up with 5 couples and enough food for twice as many or twice as long. We will surely check in with you the next time we are in Yellowstone. Thanks, Rene
