We recently completed upgrades to the house, which include: a new refrigerator, new stove, new charcoal grill, more dinnerware and glassware, and finished the den in the basement. This provides a great place to relax, or to give your kids their own space.
If you are looking for Lake convenience, but not on the lake pricing, take a look. Conveniently located just a 2 minute drive to Lake Lanier, where you can enjoy a picnic, paved walking trails and clean restrooms. The boat launch is just 5 minutes away. It is suitable for a couple, 2 couples, 3 couples or bring the family. And bring your pet. Rates are just $100 per night up to 10 people thru Aug. Cleaning charge of $60, any size group. No rate increases for week ends or holidays. Pets are welcome with additional deposit and $25 for cleaning. We also offer early check ins and late check outs when possible.
Bigger than it looks in the photo, there is 2200 square feet of living space plus a garage converted into a game room. The master bedroom is located on the main floor with 2 addtional bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. With the new den in the basement, the house will sleep 8 maximum. Maximum capacity is 8, staying or visiting and is strictly enforced. It also has a roomy generously equipped kitchen with everything you will need to prepare meals. We recently added a blender, crockpot and a second coffee maker for larger groups. There is also a washer and dryer to get a head start on laundry, if you like. This is a very relaxing, peaceful place to visit, but convenient to shopping and restaurants, movie theaters, bowling and malls. It is 10 minutes to the North GA Premium Outlet Mall, 15 minutes to Gainesville, 20 minutes to Cumming.
We know it is a REAL TREAT to get away and relax in a quiet atmosphere. When you arrive, you will find our home fully furnished for your comfort. There is also a new charcoal grill on the back deck, where you will also find a table and chairs for dining, and plenty of extra chairs to sit outside, relax and enjoy a beautiful wooded view with lots of birds and squirrels. There is also a 38 foot covered front porch with a view of the gardens. A very nice place to read or just hang out together. As a courtesy, you will find our home with all linens at no extra charge, towels, paper products, basic soaps, even coffee and filters, salt and pepper and a few condiments and spices. You will also find directions to area activites, and numerous booklets and info on area activities.
Enjoy swimming? You will have use of the community pool at no extra charge. And, of course, Lake Lanier. Is fishing in your plan? There is great fishing here, within walking distance for most. If you plan on a visit to the mountains, just 30 minutes away, you will find hiking trails, festivals, antiquing and much more. Or, you may want to stay in and relax in a quiet atmosphere. Bring along a good book, or read one of ours. We recently added a small video/DVD library. You will find plenty to do with board games, fooseball, air hockey, magazines, chess, playing cards, or bring your favorite movie for a rainy day, or quiet night in. Dogs are welcome, with an additional pet deposit and nominal cleaning fee. |
