The lake is just 2 minutes away from this property and is absolutely beautiful!! This is a wonderful size home with a list of amenities for you to enjoy. We have furnished it with YOU in mind. It's suitable for a couple with the master on the main floor, 2 couples, 3 couples, girls getaway, fishing trips, golf getaways or bring the family. Convenience to the lake at an affordable price. Begin with your journey here, both properties are just 50 miles northeast of Atlanta and less than 5 minutes away from each other. You will be spoiled with the quiet and relaxing atmosphere here with very little traffic. With paved roads and driveway, it's an easy drive from nearly anywhere. Just far enough away to clear your mind, and get in the mind set to have some fun. Bigger than it looks in the photo, you will enjoy 2200 sq. ft. of living space, not including the garage converted to a game room.
Upon arrival, you will notice the 38 foot covered and gated front porch, as it welcomes you every time you pull up. A secure place for your pet or a great big playpen for young children. It is also a nice place to relax with your morning coffee and plan your day. The birds and squirrels will greet you every morning. Once inside, you will notice the new 32 inch flat screen tv and comfy furniture. Continue into the separate dining room then into the kitchen to the back door and you will see the hot tub. Very convenient. The master bedroom and bath are also on the main level, along with a half bath and laundry room. Very convenient for a couple or retirees. Not a luxury lodge, nor a rustic cabin, you could describe this house as being somewhere in between. Decorated in a warm country feel, you will enjoy coming "home" after a day of adventure.
There are plenty of unique features and amenities here for you to enjoy: Air hockey, fooseball, ping pong, pool table,movies, books and magazines. And, if you are bringing a pet, be sure to bring a picture of him or her and display it in the pet album.
Continue your journey to all the activities offered in the area. Lake Lanier is at full pool and is just a 2 minute drive, where you will find picnic tables, boat ramp, paved walking trails and clean restrooms.

You will find a fooseball table,ping pong, air hockey and pool table, electronic darts and an ongoing puzzle in the garage, along with seating for several people. There is a small video and DVD library, boardgames, chess, playing cards, books for all ages, popular magazines for all, and activities guides for local attractions. Our home is very kid and pet friendly and convenient to malls, bowling, movie theaters, movie rentals,restaurants, basketball court, tennis court, pool (in season) and, of course the Lake. If you don't have a boat, rent one just 10 minutes away. And, your pet is welcome.

- Pet Friendly: Dogs welcome with $100 additional deposit and $35 cleaning per stay. (not per night) No cats, please. LEASH LAWS ARE ENFORCED IN THIS AREA!! Please do not allow your pets to run free outdoors. No pets on furniture or beds, please. Gated front porch for your pet and little ones.
- Kid Friendly: We have a lot of families stay here because of all there is to do at the house and just a short drive away. There are large bedrooms and bathrooms for all their gear. Not baby proof. Please call or email if you will need assistance with baby proofing.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Please do not leave anyone under the age of 18 in the house unattended.

- This house is located in a quiet, safe area. A great area to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Once you are here, you will appreciate the short drive and convenience to activities in the area. There is much to do in the area for all ages. Absolutely NO LOUD HOUSE PARTIES, please. Family gatherings are welcome. There are numerous game tables in the garage with a table and chairs and additional seating. A nice cool spot on hot days. There is also great fishing within walking distance for most.

Why the Owner Chose Gainesville
We didn't purchase this house as a vacation rental, but it sure has worked out to be a great one. This is a great area for a vacation rental, with the lake so close, you don't need to pay top dollar to enjoy the lake. It is so convenient to so many activities and shopping, you can drive just 10 to 30 minutes to a multitude of fun activities to do. It is just far enough out to get away from it all, but not too far away where you are spending all your time in the car.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We stay at our rental often and love how quiet it is there, very little traffic. We stayed so often, we missed our hot tub at home, so we bought one for the rental house for you to enjoy too. We also recently added a 32 inch tv in the livingroom and a 27 inch tv in the master bedroom, as well as replaced the old charcoal grill with a new gas grill. Having raised the kids here, we know how important it is to have plenty of room for them and plenty to do. Last year we purchased a pool table, air hockey, ping pong combination that works well with the fooseball table. We all enjoy the gameroom. And, with the lake just 2 minutes away, we always had something to do. We often took them to the pool too. We could take a picnic to the lake or the pool and stay all day. To add to that, it didn't cost anything to enjoy the lake or the pool.
The pool is located within walking distance for most, or 1 minute by car and easy to find. Clean restrooms, pavilion, brick BBQ grill, tennis and basketball court.
Located just a 2 minute drive, where you will find boat ramps, clean restrooms, picnic areas, great fishing, paved walking trails and ducks!! Launch your boat from here and you will find numerous sand
Take a short 15 minute walk from the house to here for fishing or walking along the shoreline. You may even find some treasures.

We purchased this house in 1997 and absolutely love it. We got married in the driveway, raised the kids here and in 2006, made the difficult decision to move to a property better suited for my husbands business. The house was for sale 6 months and it didn't sell. It was then we decided to share our family size home with others as a vacation rental. What a great idea!
I am a housewife and manage our vacation rental myself. I find it a great part time job and really enjoy it. I pay particular attention to details and clean it myself for your comfort and safety.
