The Lodge is FULLY equipped - from cooking utensils, to linens - all you need to bring is a sense of adventure (and maybe some food and drink). Soak in the outdoor hot tub, relax in the sauna, hang out on the deck in an oversize hammock ....
This spacious 2000 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home is located in northern Colorado, 14 miles west of Fort Collins, 65 miles north of Denver. It is on a secluded 123 acre parcel of land at an elevation of 7000 feet and is surrounded by forests and mountains.
The house has a rustic feel, yet has all the modern conveniences. Custom wood-work is throughout. The views from the 1000 square feet of deck are spectacular! You can hike and bike from the front door and will likely encounter wildlife - deer, elk, bobcats, mountain lions, bears, foxes and wild turkeys have been sighted in the mountains around this house.
The location is central to the best Northern Colorado has to offer. It is in Rist Canyon, a beautiful little canyon which is fun to explore - a nearby ranch offers horseback riding and other activities. The Lodge is 20 minutes away from the only Wild and Scenic designated river in Colorado, the Poudre River. You can follow this river valley up to the continental divide and enjoy hiking, camping and rafting along the way. Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park is less than 75 minutes away, 1 1/2 hours to ski resorts, minutes away from Lory State Park and Horsetooth Reservoir, 1/2 hour to Fort Collins and Colorado State University and a little over an hour to Cheyenne or Laramie, Wyoming. |
