Peña Mar Ocean Club is located on the east coast of Puerto Rico just 35 miles from the San Juan Airport, in the rural area of Fajardo. This three bedroom, two bathroom fully furnished air-conditioned apartment has an astonishing ocean view. Peña Mar Ocean Club is a well secured complex with 24 hour security. The development has three pools (one next to our building), 1 children's pool, 1 tennis courts, one basketball court, one Jacuzzi, walking track, and an exercise room with sauna, playground and clubhouse. The view from the balcony is spectacular you can see Villa Marina, Palomino, Palominito islands and on a clear day you can see Culebra and St. Thomas. You will not wait to come back again.
Our apartment's location is excellent. Only one hour drive to San Juan, 15 minutes drive to Luquillo Beach, 25 minutes drive to ‘El Yunque, the only tropical rain forest protected by the U.S. National Forest Service, 5 minutes to 'El Conquistador Hotel, and We are located right next to Villa Marina, where a wide range of sailboat and catamaran charters are available to take you on daily trips to the cays for snorkeling or scuba diving, Kayak day and night trips to the bioluminescent Fajardo Bay, Beaches (Seven Seas), Sailing, Snorkeling, horseback riding, Casinos, Golf, Ferry to nearby Islands of Vieques and Culebra, is only 8 minutes away. There are many restaurants (Puerto Rican, Mexican, sushi bar), movie theaters, and for those who love shopping, malls with main stores such as Wal-Mart, Sears, and Big K-mart, supermarkets nearby.
You will find maps and literature to help plan your itinerary. There is also a binder with cultural/historical information about the island, things to do, attractions, dining recommendations, local services and more.
