Condo is spacious,with new appliances in 2009, trundle beds sleep four in large back room, great for kids. Four flat screen TVs with DVDs, great sunsets to enjoy during cocktail hour, beds are soooo comfortable you'll never want to leave. Do everything or do nothing--you can't help but RELAX at Sea Colony.

My father rented this unit for 7 of us for a week. The owner was very helpful, pleasant, and gracious to deal with , but failed to mention the less than stellar condition of the condo. Upon arrival, we found 3 dirty bathrooms, a sand covered dining table, and an overall outdated, unkept unit. Upon calling her, she did send her cleaning lady to see if she could help. Many of the issues are beyond the cleaning ladies duties- painting water-damaged trim and ceilings, replacing rusted air returns and broken fixtures, caulking bathtubs, tile in bathrooms and sinks, etc. The curtain/drapes on the wrap around porch have a pully that has been ripped out of the wall, taking paint and drywall with it, making it near impossible to close the curtains. Overall the unit was outdated, dirty and uncomfortable FOR THE PRICE the owner is asking- which didn't include the pool/resort passes- that are an additional charge per person. The resort is beautiful- and the size of the unit is quite nice- 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths- but the lack of upkeep makes it easy to see why this owner has chosen to use VRBO- I am sure the rental companies require a MUCH higher standard for their units!Did you find this review helpful? I stayed here over a weekend for a girls weekend with my sister and some friends. The condo was great! There was plenty of room for all of us, it was clean, and you cannot beat the view! I was impressed by all the items in the kitchen: plates, glasses, anything you would need to cook with. This area is definitely family friendly, but also relaxing and peaceful for anyone older. The beach at Sea Colony had a lot of lifeguards and was very clean. The pools were nice as well. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I am so glad we stayed in this condo. The owner is also very nice. I would recommend this condo. Great for a relaxing beach weekend or week!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We recently returned from Sea Colony and this unit which we have rented twice now. Of our five times in Sea Colony, we have enjoyed this property the most because of a) the third bedroom which has beds for four therefore no need to use the living area as a bedroom and b) the owner who is so easy to deal with and is always available to answer questions and handles everything in an extremely professional manner. We will try to rent this unit next year if we can decide on a week before it's too late.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
