You will love our beach-side apartment in Sunset Beach. It's the yellow one just in back of the main house right on the beach so you have direct access to the beach down a walkway.
This roomy apartment (1200 sq ft) sleeps 6 – 7 with two comfy queen-size beds in the large upstairs bedroom and a queen size sofa sleeper plus a full-size futon in the living room. The bedroom has a half-bath and full bath is just off the living room area.
The kitchen has new granite counter-tops, all new appliances, microwave and plenty of cookware & supplies to provide the cooks in your family with all the amenities. You can barbecue on the beach-front with a gas-powered barbecue or on the patio right outside your front door.
Our beach is uncrowded, perfect for swimming, sunning, surfing, or boogie boarding, with a lifeguard stand nearby. A lifeguard tower is close. There are kayak rentals three blocks away for boating in Huntington Harbor; you can bicycle from Sunset Beach to Newport Beach on a beautiful oceanfront bike path, or sip a brew and get a great meal in one of the several restaurants/cafes/pubs in Sunset Beach.
Sunset Beach is the friendliest spot on the Southern California Coast, with a mile-long greenbelt for strolling or people watching. Although Sunset Beach is in busy Orange County, you'll find that we have a wonderful "small-town" atmosphere here -- everyone you see will say "Hi" and "How are ya?" You'll see huge new houses on the beach, next to 100 year old cottages; dog-walkers, kids playing catch on the green, and neighbors barbecuing together.
We are centrally located with Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Long Beach, and Newport Beach, each about 30 minutes away. You can shop in nearby Huntington Beach or Seal Beach or explore the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area. It’s all there for you, so come and enjoy!
