The Carriage House
Well appointed modern downtown cottage within a one block walk to downtown Boulder and its wonderful array of restaurants, outdoor cafes, brew pubs, fun shops and entertainment. Originally built in 1898 as a carriage house, the property was completely renovated a few years ago and offers a private retreat in the heart of Boulder.
Downstairs enjoy a custom designed modern kitchen with a comfortable dining area and entertainment/living room. The kitchen opens onto a private patio & garden area. A spiral staircase leads upstairs where the master bedroom has a king bed, executive desk and sitting area. A smaller second bedroom has a queen bed and small loft, which can be made available as extra sleeping space for the adventurous at heart.
Walk everywhere, hop on Boulder's extensive bicycle path network for a run or ride around town, or walk 3 blocks to the bus station for convenient service to Denver, CU or around town.

I have stayed at The Carriage House five times in the last two years, sometimes for a long weekend and sometimes up to twelve days. I would not stay anywhere else in Boulder! I love the location - right off Pearl, with amazing shops, restaurants and coffee places around the corner, I love the garden, the total privacy, the light, and most of all I love the house. It has the perfect size with two spacious bedrooms and ample closet space, the kitchen is top-notch and perfectly furnished, the living room with its historic brick walls is cozy, the internet is fast, the mattresses heavenly and the bathroom has a fabulous tub for luxurious soaks. The towels are thick and fluffy and everything awaits your arrival: hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, lavender bath salts, even a scale! I am extremely sensitive to harsh chemicals and I love the fact that the Carriage House is "green", all cleaning supplies, detergents, shampoos, soaps, etc. are organic and the house sparkles, but does not have the toxic smell that you so often encounter in hotel rooms. I look forward to my return to this little gem off Pearl and think the owners are doing a fabulous job - thank you!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
