After a long day we invite you to unwind in the hot tub where you can star gaze in the peaceful mountain setting. Or you can settle down inside reading a book, watching movies or TV by the gas fireplace.

The house is located about 45 minutes from Gatlinburg, Tennessee or Asheville, North Carolina. There are many things to do during your stay… Visit the Cherokee Indian Reservation. Spend the day whitewater rafting, horseback riding or just enjoy rides on the Great Smokey Mountain Parkway, the entrance is only 15 minutes away.

  • We stayed at your Maggie Valley Cabin in mid-October of this year and had a great time. The place is completely stocked with everything one could imagine needing. The beds were as comfortable as home and everything was top-notch. The view was breath-taking and location is central for many activities. Our only problem was that we never got the fireplace lit, but the wonderful hot tub made up for that inconvenience. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us.

  • We stayed at "A Norwood's Bird's Eye View" the first weekend in August. We were very comfortable in this very nice house. The hot tub was wonderful, there was a beautiful view, and it was quiet! While the temperatures in Auburn, AL were over 100 degrees, the weather in Maggie Valley was pleasant. A bird had built a nest in one of the bird houses on the porch and my kids enjoyed hearing the chirping of the babies and watching the mother bird flying in to feed them. The framed post cards going up the stairs were really helpful - that was a great idea. We ended up going to Sliding Rock because of the post card and had a great time. The maps were a great help as well. The house was well stocked, the furnishings were comfortable - we had everything we needed. Hopefully we will get back to this part of NC and stay here again.
