Our cottage, called Little Caper, is located in Arch Cape, a quiet, residential beach community four miles south of Cannon Beach. It has great ocean views and is only one block to beach access. The cottage is approximately 800 square feet plus a spacious, wrap-around outdoor deck. We completely renovated the cottage in 2006; the renovations include new flooring and paint, a new bathroom, new kitchen appliances and countertops, new furniture, and new mattresses.
The cottage has two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and down comforters, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area. The kitchen, while small, is fully stocked with cooking utensils and dishes, and has all new appliances. The dining table can seat up to six people. The living area has a wood-burning fireplace (we supply the firewood), CD stereo system with an iPod hookup, and flat screen television and DVD player. We have stocked our home with dozens of books, board games, playing cards, and a wide selection of DVDs for guests to enjoy. There is patio furniture, including Adirondack chairs and a gas barbeque grill, on the deck. We also have a washer and dryer for guests' use.

WINTER: Nov. 1 - Mar. 31 - $120/night (2 night minimum)
SPRING: Apr. 1 - May 31 - $140/night (2 night minimum)
SUMMER: June 1 - Labor Day - $175/night (3 night minimum June, 5 night minimum
July and August). Shorter rental periods may be available; please inquire.
FALL: post-Labor Day - Oct. 31 - $140/night (2 night minimum)
Thanksgiving, Christmas through New Year's, Memorial Day:$140/night (3 night min.)
We accept checks and PayPal. No smoking or pets. $100 cleaning fee, 8%
tax, and refundable security and damage deposit not included in daily rates.

The Arch Cape Beach Cottage was perfect for our stay. It was so warm and cozy and had all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay. The house is stocked with toys. movies, and games, so the kids were fully entertained. BBQ grill, short walk to the beach. Wonderful. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook our meals. Every detail was thought through at this place. We will definitely return. Very close to downtown Cannon Beach.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This two-bedroom cottage is just perfect for a romantic weekend or weeklong getaway. Nicely sited on a quiet street with angled views of the Pacific and at just the right price, I have recommended this hideaway to numerous friends and family. A fully stocked kitchen, entertainment center and linen closets, I do not think anyone would go wrong with this beach house. We plan on returning this year!

The Arch Cape Cottage was the perfect size for us - 2 adults, 3 small children. The decor is charming. The toys for kids were so convenient and loved. We had a wonderful stay. The Arch Cape beach is definitely a hidden treasure away from 'touristy' Cannon Beach. Thank you!

We had a great time at Arch Cape and the Beach Cottage was fantastic! It was clean and well-maintained and had been decorated so cute! The owners are great to work with and very helpful if you have questions. They also have the house fully stocked with everything you need for a stay at the beach, including toys and buckets for the kids. Arcadia Beach is right down the road and the kids loved seeing all of the sea life. Also close to Cannon Beach, just a few miles away.

Never having been to the Oregon coast, but being steered by friends to the Cannon Beach area, we were looking for a reasonably-priced place for our family of four. This house proved to be it. My husband enjoyed the great setting on the deck catching up with work, and the grill was used for most of our meals. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. We found it was preferable to be close to Cannon Beach, but not staying there, mainly because we were closer to Manzanita and Oswald West State Park which we enjoyed more than Cannon Beach. The walk down Arch Cape beach was beautiful, and the tide pools (and seeing the arch) were fun to explore when the tide was lowest at 7 a.m. during our visit. Our 9-year old found a dozen sand dollars on the beach which was the highlight of her visit!

We spent a wonderful, magical weekend in this beach cottage. Loved the location. Walked the beaches in the winter storms. Found restaurants, grocery stores, and trails to hike. Would rent this place again in a minute.

Arch Cape is a tranquil and relax place. We had a great time as this is our first beach vacation at the Oregon coast. Our 7 years old daughter enjoyed to ride her bike on the beach, discovered tide pools and caves, so much fun! The lovely cute beach house is perfectly for our family.

I have been renting houses on the North Oregon coast for many years, and I cannot remember being more pleasantly surprised by a property. This house really has it all for a small group - very new inside, clean, exceptionally well stocked with amenities, wonderful deck, ocean view and a short walk to beach. Doesn't hurt at all that our weather was gorgeous! We had a great weekend - and since we all talked about how great the cabin was, I thought I'd share our compliments online. The owners really "get it". Well done!
