Charming, historic one bedroom apartment that has recently been completely renovated with love and care. Traditional Parisian stone-faced building dating from the 1920's with fireplaces in both the living room and bedroom. The apartment is located on the 1st floor (European).

We are minutes away from the famous rue Daguerre, a typical market street packed with fresh fruit and vegetable stands, butchers, chocolate shops, restaurants, flower shops and bakeries. The local market takes place on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. Lots of guidebooks and local information are at your disposal during your stay.

Some ideas for your stay: Our ideal day starts with a stop at our favorite local bakery for some warm pains au chocolat. We then head over to one the local markets to check out the fresh offers for the day. The afternoon is spent exploring one of the numerous close by attractions, Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre Dame, Opera, or the Catacombs or a visit to one of Paris' wonderful museums: Musee D'Orsay, the Pompidou Centre, or the Musee Carnavalet. In the evening enjoy some of the best and most affordable French restaurants the city has to offer or pop out to see an opera or a concert in one of Paris' many exceptional venues.

Truly your home away from home in Paris with all amenities included: Fully equipped kitchen, Computer with Internet access and WiFi, Cable TV, Electric kettle, hairdryer, telephone, stereo with CD player, etc. The apartment even offers a full library of both French and English books, including numerous guidebooks to the city and novels to unwind with at the end of the day.

  • Tara's 14th Arr. Paris Apartment is fantastic. The location is ideal, due to the close proximity to multiple metro stops and the RER B to/from CDG, as well as being quietly tucked off the main Avenue LaClerc. Access to morning coffee and fresh baguette (even an extra roll of paper towels), or real Parisian life, is immediate. In addition to its location, the apartment itself is lovely in its historic details; it is quiet, well-appointed, and so very comfortable. (I slept better in Paris than I have in my own bed at times.) Finally, I would happily recommend this apartment to my family members and co-workers, particularly since Tara was so conscientious and professional. (Many thanks to you, Tara.)

  • In April 2009 we spent a week in this comfortable and well-situated home. We highly recommend this apartment. It is in a quiet, peaceful area close to public transit, excellent shops and restaurants and the lovely Parc Montsouris with its elegant restaurant. You'll love it!

  • From the minute we got to the apartment we loved it. The shutters were closed and it was very quiet and as soon as you opened them you felt the flavor of Paris. You could hear the echoes of the beautiful French language filtering up and from the window we could see the "Parisians" strolling on the street. We were totally in control of the environment we wanted. The apartment was spacious and very nicely furnished. The bedroom was large and had plenty of storage. The living room and dining area are very comfortable and we enjoyed them late in the day when we returned from sightseeing. The kitchen is very well equipped and we prepared breakfast each day and some meals. The convenience of the washing machine allowed us to pack lightly and travel with ease. We have stayed in several VRBOs and having a landline phone and a computer available is a real treasure. We were able to keep in touch with family by phone and e-mail and enhance our daily trips with information off the internet. We ate dinner in the area at restaurants recommended by Tara and Po and they were great. Tara and Po also responded quickly to any questions we had. We went to the bakery each morning and enjoyed fresh pastries at the apartment. We traveled all over Paris by train and bus which are steps away from the apartment. We took the train to and from the airport which was very easy. We also traveled by train to Versailles and Normandy. I can truly say we were sorry to leave because we loved Paris and this very cozy apartment became home to us.

So much to see and so little time. Well, I guess we needed to leave something for next time, and there will be a next time just not sure how soon.   • I stayed in this apartment for a week while my daughter started college in Paris. This apartment was WONDERFUL and everything I needed was there. It was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and well equipped. The neighborhood is great. Some wonderful shopping, good restaurants and it is very close to the Metro and the RER. I took the RER to CDG when I went home and walked to the train station. It could not have been easier. It is a little far from tourist attractions but I was not doing that this time. However, the No. 4 metro (the closest to the house) takes you right to St. Germaine and Notre Dame. So if you don't mind riding the metro, transportation is easy. The owners also provided a large selection of Paris tourist guides. They also had a great Michelin book of Paris street maps that I used every day to get places. It was indespensible! The price is right too. You can't get a decent hotel in Paris for this price and you get so much more space and you can make your own coffee in the morning. The owner's are also very nice and helpful. They called to first day to make sure everything was okay and they left their phone number in case there were problems. This was really a great experience. I can't say enough good things about it.
