This exceedingly well-maintained, two-story home with crown molding, sculpted carpet, and granite counter-tops throughout provides 4 bedrooms (three upstairs and one downstairs) and 3 1/2 baths (two upstairs and 1 1/2 downstairs).
This downtown-area home includes the following: two surround-sound systems, Wi-Fi (wireless internet), four TVs, two gas fireplaces, a Roman tub with two shower heads and remote speakers connected to the master bedroom sound system, a gourmet kitchen, and a den with a full wet bar, two Ipod connections and two Ipod docks, and three ceiling fans. The lighting in this home provides options to create many different moods, as dimmers are found in all rooms, including the baths.
Outside, guests will find a patio, a sun deck, and a balcony. Coolers, beach chairs, and up to 12 bicycles are provided with this rental.
Upstairs, the master bedroom features a California king, sleigh bed; a gas fireplace; an entertainment system with CD/DVD changer, surround-sound, Ipod connection, and a 47 inch flat-screen HDTV, a ceiling fan, and a balcony. This room’s private bath offers total relaxation in a Roman tub with two shower heads and sound piped in from the master bedroom; and a changing area that provides a two-sink, granite-counter-topped bureau with a second ceiling fan.
The second bedroom also features a queen bed, a 32 inch TV with an HD DVD player, and an Ipod dock.
The third bedroom affords a California king bed, a sitting area with a convertible twin bedchair containing a pillow-topped mattress, and a 27 inch TV with VCR/DVD player. An additional twin bed is available for this room, as well as an optional, inflatable queen bed. A second bathroom completes the second story.
Downstairs, the kitchen features granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances: a dishwasher and three ovens, one gas/convection, one electric, and one microwave/convection combination. A bar-counter separates the kitchen from the dining room, which sits adjacent the living room, a space that provides a gas fireplace and an optional queen bed. A half-bath lies off of the kitchen.
The Sunroom, the entertainment area, is accessed from either the kitchen or the back patio. This tropically themed area provides guests with three rooms: an entertainment room, a bedroom, and a full bath. The entertainment area features wicker and ratan furniture, a 47 inch TV with CD/DVD player, surround sound, and Ipod connection, a wet bar with granite counter tops, a refrigerator, a garbage disposal, a blender, and an optional standard double bed.
The fourth bedroom features a standard double bed. The patio off of this area is furnished with patio furniture, affording guests a relaxing outside experience.
This home comes with linens, towels, dish and cook ware, a small offering of spices, beach chairs, two coolers, beach umbrellas, an easy pop-up beach awning, a wagon, five boogy boards, and up to fourteen bicycles, two are which are for children. Additionally, a shared washer and a dryer are provided for the convenience of guests.

This is a really great holiday rental. The property is in a super location - Huntington Beach has so much to offer, and the house is an easy walk to the beach and town centre whilst being far enough away to be peaceful. The Sand Castle is very well furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a fabulous holiday. Guests of all ages and interests could not fail to enjoy their stay and the facilities provided. The owners were extremely helpful both before we travelled and following our arrival and did everything they could to facilitate our arrival and departure for our convenience. We would definitely stay here again.

We just got back from staying at the Sand Castle. We took our whole family (10), Grandma, kids, spouses and grandchild, and we had a wonderful time. The description and pictures of the home are very accurate. The place was clean and very well stocked, especially the kitchen. Besides buying fresh food at the grocery store, the only thing we needed to buy were trash bags. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet with friendly neighbors. Our two-year old grandson loved playing with all of the toys and our adult children enjoyed watching sports on the big screen TVs and biking down to the beach. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do including going to a USC football game (45 min.) and spending three days in Disneyland (20 min.) Many of our children arrived or departed at different times and the trip to Long Beach airport was only twenty minutes. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. Thanks Steven and Lisa!

We had family and friends stay with us at the Sand Castle during the 4th of July week. We weren't sure what to expect however everything exceeded our expectations. The Sand Castle is located walking/biking distance between the beach and downtown area. Both the owners and the property mgr called us during our stay to make sure everything was fine and if we were in need of anything. We had a full house the entire time and never once felt like we were in a confined space or needed more room. We would highly recommend the Sand Castle to any family who wishes to have a nice, quiet, relaxing vacation.

We rented the Sand Castle for a week and loved it! We live in Germany and our 3 adult kids are scattered across America. We had 13 people staying and everyone had a place to sleep and plenty of space. The bikes were wonderful to ride to the beach on and we had lots of BBQ's with the provided grill. Thank you Steve and Lisa! Having propane and spices already on hand was so helpful! We hope to stay again in the future. I highly recommend staying at the Sand Castle!

We were very happy with our beach rental. The proximity to HB restaurants and to the beach was wonderful. The bikes made it great for long bike rides from HB on the bike trails along the beach. The bike ride to breakfast at the Sugar Shack (great place) took 5 minutes. The patio was great for cookouts and relaxing outside. Steve was very accommodating. We look forward to next year!

We had the most fantastic stay at The Sand Castle! Steven and Lisa were very sweet and ensured that our stay was memorable and accomodating in every way possible. The home is just blocks from the beach and Main st, and is in one of the best locations in HB! The house is very well organized and everything that you need or want is at your fingertips! The special additions and "extras" made such a difference and really added to the ambiance of the home! We have 3 year old twin girls and they had such a great selection of toys and things to keep them happy and content! There is also a bike with a childrens seat on the back, which was amazing and a huge hit!!! Thank you Steven and Lisa for the most memorable vacation to HB to date!! ~The L Family

We spent 4 nights at this home for our son's wedding in Costa Mesa. It slept 12 of our family comfortably and the home was clean, updated and in a nice area. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We road the bikes, had a barbeque, went to the beach (1 mile away) with easy access and entertained guests during our stay. We recommend this property without reservation to families who want to get away.

My daughter found this home while searching for a hotel, condo, or some accomodation that would fit all of our family. We have 5 children, 3 of which are married with 4 small children. She found the "Sand Castle" online and we booked it right away. When we arrived we were very pleased with our choice. Yes, we could have stayed in a hotel but the home was AWESOME! The kids were more at ease, the rooms were very comfortable, it was wonderful having everyone be together in the same area and being able to cook saved us $$ on our vacation. There were 12 bikes and we took advantage by biking to the beach nearly everyday. It was so great being able to have that option. Even on days we kicked back the bikes were a great choice. The area is beautiful and close to the beach. The men took advantage of the ping pong table and there was a 'tournament' nearly everyday! We didn't have to take sand toys or chairs for the beach because they had EVERYTHING you would need or want. Pack light because you won't need to worry you forgot something, The owners have thought of everything. The drive to Disneyland was acceptable and I much preferred staying close to the beach and then driving to the Park. The owners were there to greet us, give us directions to restaurants and local favorites and they made us feel very much at ease. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay on their vacation in SoCal. We are already planning on returning as soon as we can! Thanks Sand Castle for a great place to stay!

The home and location were perfect. On a quiet street and only minutes to the beach. The amount of bikes and red wagon really came in handy for all the kids. We had 10 people in this home and still had plenty of room. My family and I hope to make this a yearly getaway. Homeowners were very helpful with information on the local and surrounding scene. My family just returned from our stay at The Sand Castle. The home helped create the best vacation for all of us. We had thirteen people and there was plenty of room. Having the bikes and all the beach stuff was quite a plus. Everyone was truley wowed by this home, it's beautiful.
