Ocean Lakes is a family resort and certain regulations are to be followed in order to keep it that way. You will receive a copy of these regulations upon booking and asked to abide by them in order to keep our home and OL a safe and fun place to vacation. We can only rent to couples and families over 25.
You will need to check in at the front desk upon arrival and pay the 5. per day parking fee OL charges for the parking pass and be cleared to stay in our home.
Our home is located in the awarding winning Ocean Lakes Family Resort with a mile of beach front and loads of amenities. We are site 1150, only about 50 yards from the beautiful ocean front or about a minute walk and your toes will be in the sand.
You can wake up each morning and be on the beach in a few steps or have your morning coffee on the deck and watch the sun shine on the fabulous ocean and listen to the waves roll in or at night let the ocean waves relax you after a great fun day on the beach. You may just want to sit at the breakfast bar and watch your favorite TV program and look at the beautiful ocean at the same time while you enjoy your breakfast. OUR HOME ALLOWS YOU TO DO ALL OR THIS AND MORE!
Inside you will find everything you need to make your vacation enjoyable. Our home is completely furnished, ready for you to relax and enjoy your vacation. Bring your beach towels, and paper products and you are all set. The wrap-around deck offers you an excellent view of the beach and you can listen to the waves rolling or read a good book. You also have an excellent view of the ocean from the living area of the home. We also have internet connection for you convenience.
Our home offers 3 spacious bedrooms. Bedroom 1 on the first floor has a queen bed a full bath and a large walk in closet and a TV for your viewing pleasure.
Bedroom #2 second floor offers a queen bed with a large walk in closet and a TV for you to enjoy and Bedroom #3 offers 1 full bed and 1 queen bed, an alcove with a twin bed and a TV for the kids to enjoy.
The living room and dining area are open to the kitchen area and breakfast bar that sits 4 and a table that sits 4 which gives your family a great place to hang out and enjoy TV and there is a DVD player also. The sofa makes into a queen sleeper as well.
Our home also features 2 1/2 baths, a great kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, including a microwave, oven, George Foreman Grill, toaster oven, automatic coffee, maker, blender, dishwasher, mixer, all the dishes and cook ware you could ever need. If you prefer to there is also an outside barbecue grill and picnic table and chairs for your enjoyment. There is also an enclosed hot and cold shower to use after you come in off the beach to get the sand off before you go upstairs to relax or before you start the grill.

Departure cleaning is mandatory in the spring and summer season.
Ocean Lakes is a self-contained village, with 24 hour security, a ten mile per hour speed limit, and plenty of recreation for the entire family. You will find a 17,000 square foot recreation center, out door Olympic pool, indoor heated pool,kiddie water park, 2 baby pools, tanning decks, family fun center with 80 games, miniature golf course, horse shoe, shuffle board, basket ball, volley ball, 2 playgrounds, 8 fresh water lakes and fishing, ping pong, swimming lessons, a marine life nature centre, basket ball courts, a gift/grocery store and much more to enjoy. The beaches are patrolled and have lifeguards on duty during spring and summer season. There is 24 hour security monitored in OL at all times with 10 mile an hour speed limit. You can feel at ease vacationing here at Ocean Lakes. Golf cart and bicycle rental is available through Ocean Lakes. There is a $5.00 per day per vehicle charge paid to Ocean Lakes at check in. Cancellation policy: If you cancel in a timely manner and there is time to rent the home again, we will refund your deposit after we have secured another renter. If our home is rented and the rental fee is not paid in a timely manner and the time is cancelled the rental deposit will not be returned. If the full agreement is not honored, the initial rental deposit will not be refunded. Any personal property that is left is your responsible.

We have 2 wonderful grandkids that we love to spend time with and the beach is a great place to do that. We live in a small community is Marvin NC just outside of Charlotte, NC. We spend time with our family as much as possible.
Why the Owner Chose Holiday Inn (900, 1000, 1100) Section
We have owned our vacation home for about 19 years. It has change a lot in this time. We rebuilt our home after Hugo in 1991. Ocean Lakes is a great place to take the grandkids as it is a wonderful family area with loads of things to do right there at OL. Ocean Lakes is safe and a fun filled place to be and it can also be a quiet place if you want to relax and read and just hang out.

You can buy your food and never leave Ocean Lakes due to the fact there is so much to do, or you can enjoy all the activities around the area as there are many. Lots of places to eat, shop, and have fun.
You can wake up and have your breakfast on the deck and watch the waves roll in and be on the beach in a minute or just relax with a good book on the deck. We love our home at OL and hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we do.

I really enjoyed staying here. I was relaxed and at ease with my family venturing out to explore. The house was furnished nicely, with all I needed for the week. We cooked in to cut back on cost and had everything there I neede to make meals. It was clean and well taken care of. Then when we did go out to eat, the campground is locating near so many places to choose from. The campground had so many things to offer my family to do we stayed around there most of the entire vacation. I have a 14 yr old and an 11 yr old and they had plenty of things to do. My husband could fish in the ponds and explore the campground on his daily walk around it. The kids had 2 pools, an arcade, a skateboard park, putt-putt and much more. We will go again next year.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
