True to its name, Tranquillity is a place for relaxing into the calm ambiance of an exquisite home on a beautiful beachfront site ~ while being gently pampered by a competent staff.
The well-appointed rooms of Tranquillity stretch over 5,200 square feet of rich marble floors. Artful landscaping ensures year-round flowers in bloom. The grounds resemble a private park.
The entranceway draws you past an indoor waterfall garden as you approach the spacious Great Room which opens to an 86' furnished verandah. Home-cooked meals are served by the butler on the verandah overlooking two acres of landscaped grounds and the sea ~ or in the inside formal dining room ~ or, as a special treat, in the romantic seaside gazebo by candlelight.
On calm nights, two or three local fishermen may ease through the water beyond the gazebo carrying torches and laying bait nets for the fresh catch they will deliver to the cook the next morning. The overall ambiance is quite beautiful.
Meals at Tranquillity merit special attention. Chef Danny received his formal training in Italy and has been Head Chef at several of Montego Bay's better restaurants.
If you’ve left your pets behind, be advised that Tranquillity is home to our friendly dogs. They spend days in the yard and on the beach and the staff cares for them. If you enjoy them, they’ll run with you on the beach and romp with you in the sea. They are gentle, well-behaved and love guests!

Kingsize beds in a high-ceilinged 400-square-foot suites. En-suite bathrooms have bathtub plus separate walk-in shower. French doors open to furnished verandah and path to pool, gazebo and beach.

Kingsize 4-poster bed; private bathroom with tub-shower combination. French doors to verandah.
Bedroom 4
Optional kingsize or twin beds; en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. French doors to private patio, grounds and tennis court.
Beach Cottage
Bedrooms 5 & 6 Designed as the owners’ private quarters, this is an exquisite 2-story cottage right next to the sea. Downstairs are the living room, kitchen with microwave, VCR and cable television, sound system, small extra bedroom with with queensize bed, hall bathroom and walk-in shower. The lower level opens to a private terrace on the edge of the beach where meals are served if only the Beach Cottage is occupied. (If more than two guests are in residence, all meals are served on the main house verandah, although eye-opener coffee and fruit may be served at the Beach Cottage.) Upstairs are the kingsize bedroom, over-the-beach balcony with lounges for sunning or star-gazing, and large en-suite marble bath with oversize walk-in shower.

A special amenity available to Tranquillity guests is membership at Round Hill ... just minutes from the villa and one of the finest private resorts on Jamaica's North Coast. Membership entitles guests to access Round Hill's private beach, fitness center (treadmill, free weights, rowing machine and guided aerobics) and tennis on hard-surface courts lighted for night play and with pro on call. (Charges apply to lessons and ball boys.) Round Hill also offers a jogging trail, gift shop, logo shop, beach bar, piano bar, Continental cuisine in the hotel restaurant ... and unforgettable long sunsets from the waterfront terrace. Joe A., Feb 2006 Dear Ms. Smith, My family recently spent a week's vacation at Tranquility Villa in Jamaica. While I'm sure you've heard this before, I would be criminally remiss if I did not pass on my comments. As exotic as Jamaica is, as beautiful and scenic as the Villa is, the people are absolutely priceless. I've traveled some in my business, and nowhere in the world have I been made to feel more welcome than in Jamaica. Their conscientiousness and diligence in their duties has inspired me to return home and take my own to a higher level. Some specific comments: - Judith, Anne-Marie, Carlton, Edrick: Warm, friendly, and welcoming. They were there bright and early each morning keeping the house and grounds pristine. Wonderful people. - Danny: What an incredible chef. Every single meal was excellent. After a week of his cooking, the return to the processed swill that passes for standard American fare has been gastronomically bumpy for our entire family. (My six year old daughter developed a crush on him, and still doesn't understand why we didn't bring him home with us.) - Leaford: Leaford runs a smooth ship. He was a minimum of two steps ahead of us at all times; more, once he'd gotten to study us. Beg the Lord's mercy if he catches you picking up after yourself or lifting a domestic finger! Leaford is an outstanding gentleman in all aspects. - Mr. Ralph Buckle: driver, tour guide, security expert, Ambassador of Jamaica. Mr. Buckle's guidance was right on target 100%. With his help and guidance, we explored Jamaica and were not hassled or hustled once. We felt perfectly safe at all times. I especially enjoyed our conversations about the life and perspectives of the Jamaican people. I will recommend him to everyone coming to Jamaica.
