The home is finished with terrific details such as granite counter tops, wide plank hickory floors, tiled baths, 10 foot ceilings, crown molding, etc. Decorated as a primary residence, the home is very comfortable for long stays. It's wired with a stereo system and has a flat screen tv in the living room and an additional 32" TV in the second floor loft (which has a sleeper sofa). New bedding, mattresses, and all new kitchenware will make this 5 yr old home like brand new. Furnished with high end, new designer "beach" furnishings. Jasper Quartz and crushed Slate patio with FIRE PIT sited underneath the screen porch to take advantage of the phenomenal sunset views
Layout:
The master bedroom is located on the first floor with access to the screen porch. It has a king bed with views down the Folly River, private bath with jetted tub and separate shower, and walk in closet. The living area is open to the kitchen (stainless steel appliances/ gas oven) as well as the dining room. There is a separate laundry room and 1/2 bath. On the second floor, there is a loft with TV and internet access as well as two bedrooms. These bedrooms are finished with queen beds. There are two full baths on this floor. Each bedroom and the loft have incredible views.
The house is located approximately 3 blocks from the ocean with easy beach access. It sits in a unique position and is surrounded by marsh while sitting on the Folly River. Find out why the locals prefer living on the river to living on the ocean!

Why the Owner Chose Other Folly Beach Properties
We chose to buy this home as our residence. We wanted a location on the island with close proximity to the beach. We love beachwalks every morning but wished to find a location that provided terrific views without the hassles of oceanfront.
Walk around the western end of Folly from the home. Views of Kiawah Island, Bird Key (sanctuary), and the Atlantic Ocean. Frequent dolphin sightings on the far end of the island in the Stono Inlet.
Terrific restaurants and souvenier shops. No need to leave the island!
The closest beach access to the home is .3 of a mile walk (3 short blocks). It is a handicapped access.
