If you are looking for a fabulous water view look no further . Enjoy a relaxing vacation at the Kihei Akahi from our 5th Floor D building lanai. We offer a great value with a fantastic view of the ocean in a comfortable setting.
Our recently re-modeled condo has a beautiful view of the ocean off our 5th floor lanai where whales can be seen with their newborn babies. You can also see the windmills on the hills of West Maui in one direction and the islands of Molokini and Kahoolawe to the south.
Kamaole Beach II is directly across the street for a family friendly beach outing while the bigger waves at Big Beach and Little Beach are a short 10 minute drive away. On your way out to the beach for a day of sun and fun, be sure to look to the east off our breeze way for a spectacular view of Haleakala.
You couldn't ask for a better Maui location!

My mother and I stayed here 1/8/11-1/15/11 and we didn't know what to expect since we've never used VRBO before. We were pleasantly surprised with this condo! The furnishings are lovely, it is fully stocked, and I mean FULLY stocked. All the dishes you need, blankets, pillows, beach chairs, beach towels, bath towels, even some spare toiletries in case you may have forgotten yours at home. Do not pack heavy when staying here. They have a fully functional washer and dryer right in the unit! Now, for the view..oh the view!! Step out on the balcony, wait a few seconds and you are bound to see a whale blowing. While we were there we saw whales breaching all the time! Hanging out on the balcony actually beat the whale watch cruise we took (water was too choppy)! The condo is located in the best part of Kihei, within walking distance to most of the shops and restaurants and across the street from a nice swimming beach with lifeguards on duty. Our only issue with the condo was that there was no A/C in the bedroom so it got pretty warm overnight. There is an A/C in the living room so you can get some relief from the heat.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
