My friends and I stayed here over New Year's Eve weekend this year. We were looking for a nice place near Devil's Head so we could ski, play games at night and enjoy a cozy homemade New Year's Eve dinner together. This home did not disappoint! The property was closer to Devil's Head than we could have imagined which was extremely convenient. It was super clean and the kitchen offered all the amenities we could have asked for. The fire place, games, large dining room table and especially the ping pong table were all much appreciated extras! I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy, open, roomy place to stay any time of the year. Thanks Hansen's!

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the "Peaceful Retreat". This is a great home to kick back and relax, or serve as a homebase for exploring Devil's Lake, Baraboo, the Dells, etc. The house was clean and comfortable and we felt at home right away. The views of Lake Wisconsin are beautiful and there are two decks to enjoy them from. Owners were responsive and helpful with questions. I would definitely recommend this for anyone visiting the area.

If you are looking for a well appointed, clean and spacious private family rental, this is it! The location is close to Devils Lake Park, Lake Wisconsin area, Baraboo and the Dells. The proximity to Lake Wisconsin is right across the street. The area around the home is private, on a quiet street and we enjoyed the decks and outdoor fire pit. There is plenty to do at the home with the furnished games and toys for children. The beds were comfortable and plenty of bedding and towels provided. Our family plans to visit this rental again.
