Originally from Kentucky, married with three children and eight grandchildren. Physics degree from the University of Kentucky, currently living in Florida. Retired after a 43 year career as a design engineer with a large military avionics company.

Alpine Ridge offers the best of two worlds: easy access to all of the amenities offered by Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, yet located in a secluded, heavily wooded, unbelieveably quiet area with beautiful mountain views, but not overrun with cabins and traffic .
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The benefits that I enjoy most are the beautiful mountain views, hiking in the woods and the quiet setting. A busy day would probably see less than 25 cars a day passing by the cabin, which is a real treat for someone who lives in one of the most heavily congested areas in Florida.
