Map & Owner's Profile
"Morningsong" - Tranquil Beauty, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge
Year Purchased: 2001
Why the Owner Chose Pigeon Forge
Alpine Ridge offers the best of two worlds: easy access to all of the amenities offered by Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, yet located in a secluded, heavily wooded, unbelievably quiet area with beautiful mountain views, but not overrun with cabins and traffic .
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
The benefits that I enjoy most are the beautiful mountain views, hiking in the woods and the quiet setting. A busy day would probably see less than 25 cars a day passing by the cabin, which is a real treat for someone who lives in one of the most heavily congested areas in Florida.
One of the most beautiful short roads in Tennessee. CAUTION! - avoid in snow or icy conditions.
Owner's Map of Pigeon Forge
Originally from Kentucky, married with three children and eight grandchildren. Graduated from the University of Kentucky, currently living in Florida. Retired after a 43 year career as a design engineer with a large military avionics company.

Went to Morningstar for our anniversary and my wife and I had excellent time. It felt like a home away from home. We plan to take the kids next time because the cabin is huge. I didn't realize when I rented that it is 3 stories.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Morningsong is the perfect cabin for a family getaway to the mountains. My husband and I had our own space while our three "kids" (ages 22, 20, & 14) enjoyed their own space. The floor plan is great, the hot tube is wonderful, the cabin is beautiful, and the view is great. It was in a peaceful area. My only regret is that we had so many plans while we were there that we did not get to just stay at the cabin and enjoy all that it had to offer for a relaxing vacation. I want to go back and sit on the back deck for hours with a good book and plenty of hot coffee while being surrounded by God's amazing handywork! Thanks Reeves family for sharing your "home away from home".
Owner response:Families enjoying the cabin makes all of the work worth while.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thank you so much for all these wonderful memories. This has been the first time in 11 years that my husband and I have went away. 11 years and 6 kids later & in these short few days we were able to fild ourselves again. Falling in love with my husband again was almost as wonderful as the first time. We can't wait until we come back with the kids. PS "The Old Mill" was the best food we have ever had. May God bless and keep you in good times.

Thanks for letting us come and enjoy your beautiful home. It was wonderful being here the scenery was breath taking. My family and I loved everything about your home. Our little girl is only 1 yr. old, but we could tell she was having a blast. We have honestly loved every minute that we have been here. God bless your and your family for letting us be here and maybe even letting us come back some day. Our only regret about being here is leaving. PS You need new pool tips and chalk. They are worn out.

Our 3rd. time in Gatlinburg and at Morningsong! It only gets better each time! What a blessing for our family to get away to a beautiful and serene spot. We needed some time away from our hectic schedule and this was the perfect answer. Even though it rained most of our stay, we still had a great time. Very much enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. We highly recommend the "Old Mill" and "Huck Fin Catfish", and of course "Donut ? ! Thank you for sharing your home with us again.
