We had such a great time here! We will be back. Loved the Sow's Ear, Ouray, and the train ride to Silverton! Also, don't miss the coffe shop/resturant here at Cascade Village! It's GREAT! We kinda like the "Weaver's Request" pizza.......:) Thanks for sharing your home away from home with us!

We brought our children up here for fall break, and the condo was perfect! It is very cute and clean, and much brighter and prettier in person than in the pictures! Our kids are 7 and 5, and they loved being so close to the tennis court and the mountains. The hiking on site was great, and the view from the condo was spectacular! We loved the gorgeous fall colors, and we would love to stay here again next time. Becky was very helpful and available, and her brother a few doors down was helpful, too, as we locked ourselves out a couple times! Definitely recommend this place!

Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Great location, Just as advertised

Wonderful location close to the slopes with a very helpful staff. Becky was always very responsive and helpful as well. The condo was just as advertised, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It easily accomodated all 8 of us. The master bed room is so large, we could have slept 2 more on an air mattress if necessary. Covered parking was also very convenient. Durango Mountain Resort provided fantastic skiing...by far our favorite place to ski of all the ski resorts we've visited. We will definitely return.

Owner response:So glad you and your family had a wonderful stay! We will be happy to have you return. Most people do love the location - just close enough to the resort but yet peaceful and you can't beat the hospitality! I think staying in someone's privately owned home really makes a difference!

Great Place

I took grandskids for some skiing and they loved being so close to the ski slope. But I think they enjoyed the swimming pool just as much. The condo is very nice and decorated with a western theme.The view from the back window is great and is picture perfect.The staff at Casscade Village are friendly and very helpful. Becky, the owner is very helpful and gives you all info you need to make your stay enjoyable.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We were there with our teenage daughters over the Christmas holiday. Everyone loved the condo. It's real nice and cozy. Loved the fireplace and the views were amazing. Our girls are dying to get back. Maybe Spring Break?

Ideal location, lovely condo very nicely decorated with spectacular views. Durango has great outdoor activities, restaurants and friendly people. We really enjoyed our week long stay. Dececember 2008.

We had a very nice stay at your lovely condo. What views! We took a short walk in the morning on the trail next to the condo by the meadow. Incredible colors. We also went to Mesa Verde, which was spectacular. And we went to the pools at Trimble Spa, which was so fun for our children. The condo was clean and well supplied.

Our first visit to the area was in January and what a great location for a condo! You’re just minutes from town if you feel the need to shop or dine out. We were so impressed with the beauty of the area that we came back in July and were amazed at how Mother Nature had changed the surroundings. There’s so much to do and see that we found ourselves out of time well before we had to depart. If the Fall colors are anything like the postcards we’ve seen, you can’t miss coming here…anytime. The views from this condo are among the best!
