Walk directly out your door, steps away, to the 350 foot resort beach. Picnic right outside your unit. Live outside, lakefront, from morning to night with the convenience of a ground floor unit. Possibly the best sandy beach on the lake with views of the Ossippee Mountains and Mt. Washington from your livingroom. Once you are here you will not want to leave.
Additional Resort amenities: indoor pool and hot tub, outdoor pool, tennis court and grills on the beach. Meadowbrook Musical Arts Center right next door. Gunstock Ski Area 10 minutes away.
Unit: queen bed, single over full bunk, and futon sofa in living room. Full kitchen with cookware and dinnerware provided. Bath towels and bed linens are NOT provided.

We stayed for a wedding and it was just perfect. the apartment has the most beautiful view. you look right on the lake and can walk right up to it. the owner was very reliable and gave us great recommendations on where to go to eat. and don't forget to check out the fun spot, the biggest arcade ever! fun fun fun.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

When we arrived we were met by the owner. She was wonderful to deal with and made everything very comfortable for our weeks stay. The place was beautiful and felt like a home away from home. The views are absolutely breath taking. It is a great community, it gave plenty to do for the kids and time for us to sit and relax. Can't wait to stay next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family and freinds have been coming to this location during the summer for a weeks stay for over 18 years. We look forward to it every year. We have stayed in many different units throuhout the years and this unit for the last 5 years.This unit and property are very clean and well - maintained. The view is outstanding. There is so much to do in the area. The restaurants are great so many to choose from.The other unit owners are very SO frienly. I would recomenned this unit and the Resort to ALL. WE LOVE IT! MY DIAMOND!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My family and I just got back from a weeks vacation at our favorite lake and stayed at this condo. The condo was clean, nicely decorated and perfect for my family of 4 (myself, my wife and 2 small children). Having been vacationing at the lake since I was a child, we knew this location was ideal for both day and night activities on the lake. We spent our days at the beach located 100 yards from our back door, walked to our boat located at the marina next door and met many other families with young children. Our kids played all day at the beach and we bbq each night and ate outside on the picnic tables. The owner was very helpful answering any questions we had and was reachable at all times before and after our trip. We will be coming back to this condo next year for our lake vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

The accommodations and facilities were i immaculate. Parking was limited but the owner was very helpful and the issue was quickly resolvedRecommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: The Misty Harbor management implemented a new parking system this 2012 summer. Each condo comes with one assigned parking spot. If you are bringing more than one car, there is overflow parking available.

About the owner: This condo is next to my sister's condo and I have lots of family within a close proximity. It is a terrific gathering spot for family and friends. I have spent my summers on this beautiful lake since I was 7 years old. I moved from New England to Florida back in 1994 and am fortunate enough to have owned at Misty Harbor since 2003 where now my children can experience summers (and a few winter trips) on this gorgeous lake called Lake Winnipesaukee!
Why the Owner Chose Gilford:
This resort has one of the best beaches on the lake when you combine elements of a sandy bottom beach with views from your beach chair of the mountains as the back drop. You just can't beat it. The location is awesome! Close to everything and a walk to the back of the property to get to Meadowbrook Music Center for concerts. No traffic to wait in, just walk right in. Restaurants, ice cream, spa and stores in walking distance too. Marina next door. You will not want to leave.
