Location: Freeport, Florida Main North West, Florida North West, Florida, USA (Only 1.5 miles from the 331 bridge!)

This 2BR/1BA bayfront home has approximately 1100 sq ft of living space on the main floor and also has a large workshop and storage area downstairs that adds about 500 sq ft of additional space. The home also has a private pool and approximately 2500 sq ft of outdoor living space. Main living area of house opens onto an elevated wood deck (about 500 sq ft) with rocking chairs, gas grill, and teak dining table. This deck, the back of the house, and pool face the bay and have western views for great sunsets. The patio totals between 1500-2000 sq ft (not counting pool) and has some covered seating areas and other areas where teak lounge chairs receive full sun virtually all day long! House is furnished as shown in the pictures, and it is conveniently located just 1.5 miles from the 331 bridge in Freeport on a quiet street off of Bay Grove Road. Instead of vacation rentals, we have decided to offer the home for a long term rental. Rent is $1600/month and includes weekly pool service ($150/month value), lawn care service (average of $100/month value), and pest control ($25/month). The home also has a dock that can accomodate about a 20' boat on a protected canal directly across from the front of the house. We keep our pontoon boat there, but arrangements could be made if you were to rent the house and needed dock space.

Enjoy magnificent sunsets while dining on your own private deck, or watch the ever-changing pastel sky while swimming in the bayfront pool. You and your guests can sunbathe in total privacy from sunrise to sunset. Full-reclining teak lounge chairs are waiting for you! Sunrise is also spectacular. Savor your morning coffee while watching a pod of dolphins; the only sounds you will hear are the gentle splashing of the bay and an occasional fish jumping. Pelicans and ospreys hover over schools of baitfish in your backyard. The area is known to locals for excellent fishing, and the sportsman could cast a line from the patio or crab from the nearby dock. Kayakers can also explore the many intimate creeks and waterways that feed the bay. Regardless of your interests, the pristine beauty of the Choctawhatchee Bay is the perfect escape from today's pressures.

After exploring the Beaches of South Walton, you will appreciate the convenience of this home's location. You are secluded enough to truly "get away" from everything, yet all of the activities and amenities of the area are readily accessible. By being away from the resorts, the night sky is brilliant, especially with a full moon or meteor shower. The outdoor teak dining table is the perfect place to unwind and sip your favorite beverage while enjoying the evening breeze.

Once you retire for the night, you will find a queen bed waiting in each bedroom. The home's interior has just been updated and has a Caribbean flair with newly painted white wood paneling and bright colorful artwork. You have waterviews, either bay or canal, from every window and room (including the laundry!) in the house. The fully stocked kitchen has new appliances and everything you would need to prepare any or all of the day's meals. There is also a gas grill on the back deck. Though children are certainly welcome, please remember that this home has a private pool without a lifeguard. Please also remember that the home sits directly on the bay and does not have any type of barrier between the patio and bay. Also, the dining table and coffee table have glass tops. We are parents ourselves, which is why we want you to know about these potential concerns and wouldn't advertise this home as child friendly. Please email with any questions or concerns.
