The apartment is a few minutes away by water bus from St. Marks and a five minute-walk to the beach.
Lido, the golden island, is constantly connected with the historic center of Venice, day and night, by "vaporetti" (our water buses) the public motor boats.
The apartment is on the first floor of a villa built at the beginning of last century, the well kept garden that surrounds it, the view you have from the windows and the spacious furnished terrace, the furniture of the apartment, all this make for a really relaxing atmosphere... even if you are a few minutes away from the shopping center.

Lido Island is only a 15 minute vaporetto ride from Venice, but a world apart from its hustle and bustle. Lido appears to hold mostly Italians on holiday. We would go to venice one day, and the beach the next. The apartment worked great for me and my teen daughters. This apartment is in a century old villa with lots of character, just 5 min from the vaporetto stop, and the main street, with its wonderful, relaxed, summertime Italian beachtown vibe of outdoor cafe's and gelato stands. The supermarket is also close by. The apartment isnt fancy, but is very comfortable for 3 or 4. (What you see in the listing is just what you get.) The owners live nearby in the summer and are very friendly. HIghly recommended.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Why Venice:
The family has owned the villa from the day of its construction.... in the early 1900.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
The place is perfectly located, five minutes from the public and private sandy beaches in one direction and five minutes, in the other direction, from the public waterbus stop. All stores, bars and restaurants around the corner.... however the villa, surrounded by a large luxuriant garden, is very quiet and peaceful.
