  We stayed at this cabin for the first time over a four day weekend and had a great time. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and the description of the cabin was very accurate. The cabin has spectacular views from the deck or from inside with all of the huge windows. It has the feel that you are far into the mountains but with all the luxuries of home. The neat little town of Blue Ridge is only minutes away for dining or shopping, or just to pick up a needed item. We enjoyed the fireplace with an ample supply of firewood and kept a fire going most of the time. There is a gas grill on the deck for any cookouts. The sleeping arrangements for our three families were perfect with each family staying on a different level, each level having its’ own bathroom. The highlight of our stay, especially the kids, was the hot tub and pool table on the bottom level. We had a lot of good family fun playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub. We hope to come back soon. I would recommend this cabin to my friends or family without hesitation.

  We rented this home for a 2 family getaway. We were extreamly please (as were our children who had watched 1 too many movie about creepy cabins). It was decorated in a cabin meets LLBean feel instead of Cabin meets your grandma who loves mauve country kitchen feel. It manages to keep a cozy mountain/lodge feel without being at all tacky! It is the way I would have done it if it were mine. Basement has a great flat screen (this also made the kids very happy) and the fire place was perfect for roasting marshmellows. The hot tub, spacious rooms, great kitchen and beautiful views made this property perfect.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  One of the nicest houses we ever rented! Feels more like a home than a rental.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

  My family met at the cabin to celebrate an early Christmas this past weekend. The ages in out party ranged from 2 to 67 and there was something for everyone. We hiked, grilled, enjoyed the view and shopped in the wonderful stores downtown. The pictures don't do the home and view justice - it's definately better. We are hoping to meet there again this summer. Not a single complaint from our 2 families.

  This cabin cannot be explained in the pictures you see. It so much better. My wife and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend thanks to your cabin. Nice small town. Some things not mentioned on the site that may help your decision, DSL wireless internet, DirectTV satellite, All linens provided (towels, sheets, etc), dishes and utensils, gas for the gas grill. The picture of the mountain on the site, yes, it was taken from the cabin and looks even better in person. From the cabins, you cant see any other cabins though you can hear some, not sure what it will be like in Winter with no leaves. There are wooden shutters inside the bedrooms (you can open them). We woke up around 9 AM with sun shining bright and it was dark in the room, it was wonderful. Lots of steep hills to drive to the cabin and most are gravel but the real steep ones are paved. Hot tub and pool table were great editions to cabin. Average size TVs throughout but big screen downstairs next to Jacuzzi and Pool table. Yes Jacuzzi is outside, was unsure from pictures. 5 stars in my book, great rate, great place!!!
