Gorgeous view of Lake Blue Ridge and the mountains beyond from the living room, kitchen, dining area and upstairs lounging loft. Our 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin is in the popular Aska area, just 10 minutes to the marina and the quaint town of Blue Ridge and near the best hiking trails and fishing areas. We're on 3+ private acres up a private, paved, gated mountain road.
All furnishings are new and designed for maximum relaxation and comfort. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The big stone fireplace in the living room will keep you warm and cozy. Two masters each with king bed, TV, and private bathroom. Loft area with lake view, books & games for the kids and lots of lounge-friendly furniture.
The finished basement has a big screen TV, stereo system, top of the line pool table, and 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with bunks. Another full bath and queen sleeper sofa are in the basement. Enjoy the hot tub outside as you enjoy the peace and quiet.

- King (2) : The downstairs master is decorated with cherry, Mission-style furnishings including king bed, armoire, dresser with mirror, and two end tables. The upstairs master is a rustic white oak king with matching armoire and end tables. Both rooms have large walk-in closets and private full bathrooms.
- Bunk Bed : Fun bunks for the kids with a twin on the top and a full bed for the bottom bunk. "Sponge Bob" lamp, armoire, and a walk-in closet complete the room.
- Queen : Lovely wrought iron queen bed, armoire, walk-in closet in the terrace level bedroom.

Why the Owner Chose Blue RidgeThis home is on 3 private acres but is very close to town and the marina. The view of the lake is incredible! The roads to the home are almost all paved which makes the driving easy. Town is just 10 minutes away so you don't mind driving down there if you forgot something at the grocery.
The Unique Benefits at this HouseWe love to sit on the deck and stare at the lake--it's a beautiful lake. The hot tub is so much fun in both hot and cold weather, and the pool table is very entertaining. The kids love all our board games. There is enough room for everyone to be together and to also enjoy their own privacy.

We rented this home for a 2 family getaway. We were extreamly please (as were our children who had watched 1 too many movie about creepy cabins). It was decorated in a cabin meets LLBean feel instead of Cabin meets your grandma who loves mauve country kitchen feel. It manages to keep a cozy mountain/lodge feel without being at all tacky! It is the way I would have done it if it were mine. Basement has a great flat screen (this also made the kids very happy) and the fire place was perfect for roasting marshmellows. The hot tub, spacious rooms, great kitchen and beautiful views made this property perfect.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

My family met at the cabin to celebrate an early Christmas this past weekend. The ages in out party ranged from 2 to 67 and there was something for everyone. We hiked, grilled, enjoyed the view and shopped in the wonderful stores downtown. The pictures don't do the home and view justice - it's definately better. We are hoping to meet there again this summer. Not a single complaint from our 2 families.

This cabin cannot be explained in the pictures you see. It so much better. My wife and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend thanks to your cabin. Nice small town. Some things not mentioned on the site that may help your decision, DSL wireless internet, DirectTV satellite, All linens provided (towels, sheets, etc), dishes and utensils, gas for the gas grill. The picture of the mountain on the site, yes, it was taken from the cabin and looks even better in person. From the cabins, you cant see any other cabins though you can hear some, not sure what it will be like in Winter with no leaves. There are wooden shutters inside the bedrooms (you can open them). We woke up around 9 AM with sun shining bright and it was dark in the room, it was wonderful. Lots of steep hills to drive to the cabin and most are gravel but the real steep ones are paved. Hot tub and pool table were great editions to cabin. Average size TVs throughout but big screen downstairs next to Jacuzzi and Pool table. Yes Jacuzzi is outside, was unsure from pictures. 5 stars in my book, great rate, great place!!!
