We are not directly on the Gulf of Mexico, we are a minute's drive from the public beach. You are not looking out onto any oil when staying at the Purple Parrot.
This is a gated community of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom, two-storey, stand alone cottages (this is not a high rise condo building) cottage 45C (called Return to Me) is on the cul-de-sac in the back of the resort (behind the indoor pool facility, a coveted location for Snowbirds), facing a gazebo with a charcoal grill available for use. Gazebo has electric for plugging in your music. This unit is totally brand new downstairs and newly painted upstairs with all new, plush linens everywhere for your use. The place sparkles. The décor is island flavor with beautiful, and comfortable furniture. Both the upstairs and downstairs porches have new chairs and comfortable cushions for you to enjoy some relaxing moments. We have a land-line phone (local calling only) with an answering machine so friends can always reach you and leave a message. We have televisions in both bedrooms with a DVD or VCR. Downstairs has a large flat screen TV with DVD and computer/internet hookup.
We are a minute's drive from the public beach and 90 seconds from Johnson's national seashore beach run by the U.S. Park Service. We are directly across the street from lost key golf resort and close to perdido key golf resort. We have both indoor and outdoor pool facilities, fitness room, sauna, hot tubs at both pool locations. Our management is super friendly and so are we. Come and stay in "Return to Me" (Cottage 45C). Rent 6 nights and you can get the 7th free. We try to keep our calendar up to date, but if you see the dates you wanted are already taken, please still contact us, there are many other cottages in this complex that can be rented. We have a Winn Dixie card for your use (get those special sale prices on your favorite snacks!) posted on our Fridge.
Families, consider renting 45C and a group of cottages for that get together with siblings. Each family has privacy when they want it and fun places to be together at the pools or beaches.

Why the Owner Chose Purple Parrot
the beaches in this area are among the most beautiful in the world, certainly #1 in the United States. The winters are mild and the summers are just a touch cooler than in South Florida....simply, it is always great on the Panhandle of Florida.
