Create your own private family compound at Lockwood's Marina. We offer two beautiful cottages just completely renovated in 2013. They are separated by a patio area and a well manicured yard. Both are on the waterway that connects Potter's Pond to Point Judith Pond. One is a three bedroom unit with a gorgeous kitchen complete with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, wine cooler, ceramic tile, breakfast bar, and a very large living area with additional sleeping arrangements. This home has central A/C, and new washer/dryer. Only a scenic 5 foot walkway separates this cottage from the water.
The second unit sits atop the point overlooking the salt ponds, marshes, and the Marina itself. It has a stunning view from the oversized deck. It also has an upscale kitchen, hardwood floors, and many windows for your viewing pleasure. It too has central A/C. The cottages are very private and can be rented individually or together as a compound. A Boat slip is available with this rental for up to 36 foot and 5 foot draft. There is a launch ramp on the premises and ample parking for vehicles and trailers.
Enjoy a 5 minute walk to East Matunuck State Beach and a short 15 minute ride to visit the famous attractions in Newport, RI. You can also take the Ferry (5 minutes away) to Block Island for the day and enjoy all of it's beauty. We are only 9 miles to BI.

We have stayed at Lockwood's Marina the past two summers. It is in a great location-within walking distance of the beach. The owner also manages the ice cream shop next door so you always feel that if an issue occured he would quickly resolve it. The unit is very clean and bright. I will stay there every opportunity I get. A wonderful place to relax.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great week spent on the waterways in Wakefield, RI. This clean and cute water front property was close to restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Deep sea fishing was great as was the time spent at several local beaches. Tom and Christine are wonderful hosts and we are looking forward to our stay here again next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great place right across from 3 star restaurants and Ice Cream 1 half mile to beach by Gallery and Jerusalemri gmail for more happenings Beachfront areas.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family came out from Michigan and stayed here for a week. We were very pleased -- the place is beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated, well furnished and a lovely location.
