It is located at 308 Borrell Blvd. in St. Marys and is a short walk to historic downtown with shopping, restaurants, and a beautiful waterfront park with boat launch.

The Cottage is on a tidal creek with lovely marsh view to enjoy wonderful sunsets. Large screened porch overlooking beautifully landscaped lot. Hardwood floors, plantation shutters. Utilities and appliances including washer dryer. Property comes with all appliances including dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, satellite television, furnishings, cookware, etc.

Blocks from Marina and Waterfront, the Cottage has been completely remodeled and the furnishings will make you feel right at home. St. Marys is Home to Cumberland Island National Seashore Museum. You can board the Cumberland Princess Ferry and spend the day viewing the Dungeness Plantation ruins and the wild horses of Cumberland Island, or spend the day on the Cumberland Island beach which is known as one of the top 10 beaches in the US.

St. Marys is a Historical city that dates back to the 1500's and it has something to please everyone. You will find excellent fishing and boating on the St. Marys River and boat access to the Atlantic ocean less than one mile away.

Biking, golf and kayaking are popular pastimes and golf cart rentals are also available to cruise around town while enjoying the historical homes and huge moss covered oaks. In the historic area of downtown you will find the St. Marys Waterfront park, the marina, seafood restaurants, the city park, churches, shopping, museums, antique stores and markets. Less than a half mile away is the state of the art aquatic center with pools for children and adults, a library, bowling alley, movie theater and additional shopping. The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge is located only 40 minutes west of town and makes a great day trip. Jacksonville, FL is only 35 minutes down I-95 if you want to experience some metro night life and big city events. The airport is only 20 minutes away.   • My Granddaughters and I stayed in this lovely cottage for a week. The area was a perfect location to take advantage of beautiful Cumberland Island, historical St. Augustine and St. Simons. VERY easy day trips, and to come "home" to a place to relax and put your feet up and plan the next day. The owners were more than accomodating and even called to check on us girls and offer directions and ideas. Thanks again!

  • My husband and I stayed here recently for a week-long vacation and had a wonderful, relaxing time. We were close to all the sights we wanted to see but were able to come back to the cottage where it was quiet and restful. We highly recommend it and would definitely return during a future trip.

  • We enjoyed our stay here. House is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and is neat and very clean. Downtown St Marys has a beautiful waterfront park and resturants and bars for most every taste. Night life is minimal, but available within a 30 minute drive.

  • We stayed at this home in february 2009. The location is fabulous overlooking the salt marsh at sunset. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. All furnishings were excellent and the house was decorated with the touch of home. Owner was courteous and available and responsive to our needs. The yard is spacious with orange and grapefruit trees. If you would like a quiet restful vacation with day trips/activities nearby, this is the place for you.

  • I stayed in this wonderful cottage for a little over one month (Sept/October) as I finished up my duty at Kings Bay Sub Base while my family relocated. It was much more comfortable than any hotel or base housing. As an officer and CO, I would recomend this cottage to anyone needing temporary arrangements or interim living while they are relocating or visiting the area. It was impecably clean and very close to the historic downtown district. Highly Recomended!

We were so close to the beach, the town of St. Marys is so quaint, quiet and their 4th of July is like straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting! I highly recommend anyone visiting the east coast for the first time to stay here. There are plenty of fun activities for the whole family!

  • We stayed in the cottage for almost a month during our recent PCS. The cottage is clean and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need to make your stay pleasant. If you are so inclined, you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the birds from the screened porch, or spend evenings on the bridge down the road peering at the various creatures who inhabit the marsh. The cottage is wonderful, the proprietors couldn't be nicer, and the neighbors are a delight. The cottage is a wonderful, affordable alternative to a hotel. We highly recommend it if you plan to visit St Marys.

  • A wonderful city with wonderful accomodations. We had a great weeklong stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone. It was very nice and very clean. We enjoyed our walks to the historic downtown riverfront. We plan to be back.
