Luxury condo in the heart of Athens. Without dispute the finest neighborhood in Athens. Located at the foot of Lykavittos Hill in Kolonaki. More than 1,500 sq ft (140 sq mt). of Luxury Living. When you walk out of our private entrance, you will step into some of the finest boutiques and restaurants in the world. You can take a short walk to the great archaeological sights & museums. The new Acropolis Museum is now open. The metro is only a 3 minute walk. From the balcony of our 2 bedroom/1. 5 bath condo you can view Lykavittos Hill.
Whatever your taste you will enjoy the convenient location and comfort of our newly remodeled, newly furnished home. Our home is large and spacious. It has a fully modern kitchen with marble floors throughout the kitchen and baths. The bedrooms, living room and dining room have hardwood floors, and it has air-conditioning. High-speed internet access w/wifi is available inside the condo.
The authorities have designated the street below ours (because of the British Embassy) a "pedestrian only" so it makes our street less traveled by automobile.
You can spend afternoons sitting in Kolonaki Square for plates of "meze", alongside locals sipping (mon dieu!) pastis.
So whether you're planning to spend the day languishing in the local cafes in Kolonaki, exploring the nearby Acropolis, or checking out the museums, you will find all this right outside the door of our conveniently located home.
Kolonaki is a short 5 minute walk to Syntagma Square in close proximity to Plaka, Monastiraki, and Omonia - Syntagma Square is home to the old Royal Palace and today's business district. Monastiraki is the market district and Plaka is the oldest (and most postcard-pretty) section of Athens and surrounds the Acropolis.
On a personal note...I am an American living in Greece. My husband is Greek and we returned to Greece after 30 years in the US. I will personally meet you upon arrival and will assist however I can. All the pictures you see listed were taken by me alone definitely not a professional, so I hope I was able to capture the true essence and beauty of our home. If you noticed the roses…they were picked from the garden of our home about 30 minutes outside of Athens on the Aegean Sea. I cannot guarantee you will have roses from our garden but I always have arrangements of fresh flowers and fresh fruit, chilled beverages, and snacks to get you started. I have not asked my guests to follow up with comments on the online guest book. I have a guest book in the condo and would be willing to provide you with that feedback and very credible references; also in the condo you will find guide books, maps, transportation information, menus from the local restaurants, and an entire library of tips that past guests have left. Whatever you decide I am certain you will enjoy your stay in Athens.

Heart of Athens Kolonaki Luxury Condo

Why the Owner Chose Athens
My husband was born in Greece and purchased our condo in the early 80's while serving his compulsory military time in the Navy. After moving to the US not long afterward he stayed in Kolonaki frequently over the years when visiting family and friends. We left the US in 2002 and made Greece our permanent home. We completely remodeled our condo and stay there occasionally when we are not traveling or staying in our home on the Aegean Sea.
Although more than a bit nervous initially about moving to a foreign country, leaving my family behind, and not speaking the language the transition was quite smooth. I’ve found the Greek people to be incredibly warm and inviting. I have no trouble moving around the country by myself when my husband is at work (sailing). I love this country and the people here very much and we still enjoy visiting the Acropolis and the newly opened museum, walking around the Plaka, watching the changing of the guards, taking the funicular up to Lycavittos, shopping in Kolonaki, and exploring as much as first time tourists!
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Kolonaki is a chic, upscale area in Athens. Ploutarhou Street is considered one of the "hippest". Although you will find restaurants, shops, boutiques right outside our door the area has more of the feel of a small neighborhood. The people are warm and friendly.
