This is a spacious, colorful, modern, clean, new, 3 BEDROOM unit (2,590 sq ft),which is 30% larger than a regular 2 bedroom. Guests can rent it either as TWO BEDROOM (6 occupancy - using the Master Bedroom, Bedroom # 2 and the 2 sofa beds in the den) OR as a THREE BEDROOM (6 occupancy - using all three bedrooms). Rates shown as for rental as a TWO BEDROOM, so pls inquire if you want the THIRD BEDROOM. Each bedroom has a fabulous view, large walkin closet and an ensuite marble bathroom. The Master bdrm has an ocean view. Bedroom 2 has an ocean and a golf course view and Bedroom 3 has a gold course view.
Either way, the unit is extremely well equipped and oversized. The unit is located on the 10th floor of the preferred south tower at the prestigious PORTOFINO complex. It is LOADED with extras, since we (owners) lived there for 2 yrs ( free WIFI internet, cable TV with many English channels, huge closets, washer/dryer/, quality furniture, not rental stuff, weekly maid, fabulous housekeeper/personal ass't, welcome food package etc..).
There are so many special features to this unit... it has the BEST BEACH in Vallarta at your doorstep.. a 4 km secluded stretch of white sand in front of the condominium... in the BEST LOCATION in the 5 star Marina Hotel Area, next to the Marriott, a convenient 5 minutes to the airport and 3 miles from downtown and a 10 minute walk to the over 100 stores and restaurants in the 400 slip Yacht Marina.
The MARINA is the most exclusive area in town, quiet, residential, with all the main facilities within walking distance and the home of the best hotels... the Marriott, Westin and Velas. This is the BEST CONDOMINIUM in the South tower of Portofino. This tower is preferred because you can see the incredible sunsets from the terrace.
The unit has been meticulously equipped and furnished by the owners for easy living. PORTOFINO sets on 12 acres of landscaped gardens, right on the beach, across the street from the 18 hole Marina Gold Club. There is a lighted tennis court, paddle tennis, a modern gym, large heated pools and a snack bar, a play areas for kids, and a business center. I was really impressed with this unit. I was one of the first people to rent it and whoever did the decorating did a fabulous job. Not only are the views spectacular but the terrace is truly lovely and you can see the sunsets uninterupted every eve. The daytime views of the water are wonderful also. The pools are spacious and maintaned very well. Not your typical condo pool. You're also a stones throw from the beach if you so desire. The rooms are quite large and comfortably furnished. The master bedroom is on the ocean side which is a bonus plus right outside the door on the terrace is a spa. I look forward to renting this unit again on my next visit to pv. The accommodation was OK, altho the decor is a little off the wall. We had trouble with lights that did not work, a day without hot water, a day without gas for the stove, which was shut off in the middle of my making pancakes.. The view is fantastic. Very unreliable maid, who altho arranged for Wednesday, came what ever day she wanted and the last week not at all. I would recommend the Rock n Roll diner in the Marina for their ribs.

We had a great time in PV this April. The accomodations were wonderful. Porto Fino is a great place and the condo we rented was first class in every way. We'll be back for sure!

We stayed in this unit for 16 days in late January and early February of 2010. It was AMAZING!! The views from the balcony are great. We liked to open the hugh sliding glass doors and let the ocean breezes come into the condo. Plenty of space. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. Our son and his girlfriend came down and they had all the privacy they wanted. The kitchen is stocked well and worked out perfectly for breakfast and lunches. The grocery store is a short 20 minute walk away, and the restaurants at the Marina are even closer. All in all a very laid back and comfortable place to stay. Dean was very helpful and great to rent from. We'll be back!

This gorgeous 3BR 3BA condo is simply perfect in every way. The views were spectacular from the large terrace and the place was quality luxury throughout. We felt extremely comfortable and the master bed was perfect, no backaches to wake up to unlike a lot of mattresses in Mexico. Oceanviews, the huge pool, the grounds and the gym were superb. This place is first rate and we will stay here again.

My husband, my parents and my daughter just returned home from staying a week at this property. We had an outstanding time! Everything claimed about the condo and resort is accurate. The owner and his representative who met us upon our arrival are charming and very easy to work with. The condo is extremely well maintained and we enjoyed having the pool and beach not be so crowded as some. On the other-hand, the condo is close to everything so we could actually meet the "real" people and see what life is like in PV! I highly recommend it! We loved it so much we have already booked another week for April 2009!

This was the best unit I've ever rented. The walk in closets (his and hers in master and one in 2nd br) are way more space than you could fill. The view from balcony and Master BR is fabulous. Sunsets every night. Music, TV's, books, games, and plenty of wine glasses! The extra space is wonderful.You really get a cool breeze and plenty of light. The kitchen is stocked. This place has it all. It's decorated nicely for a bonus. It was very clean. The pictures are only inaccurate because it's way better in person! I miss it so much.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The pictures are as good as the actual unit. You will be not be disappointment on arrival! Well decorated and a beautiful view. We found it had much more furniture and decorations then a typical condo. Overall a great place to stay in PV!
