This house was more than what we expected! EVERYTHING you need is available in the huge kitchen. The house layout is perfect for a large family gathering. It's also a great location to access dining, the Strand, the ferry. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the ships.

My best friend and I celebrated our 50th birthday at this amazing rental. This house is just incredible. We had 12 overnight guest and additional friends for birthday dinner and never felt like we were on top of each other. As a "birthday girl" I had one of the two master suites which was wonderful. I loved to sit out on the balcony in the morning with my coffee and watch the sun come up. The kitchen is amazing and stocked with anything that you could ever need (it is hard to cook at home now). I would definetley recommend this rental, you just can't go wrong. This will be my only Galveston destination.

Definitely the best accomodations in the Galveston area. The home has a great layout, is well maintained, tastefully decorated, excellent location - everything and more than we were looking for. In addition, the owners were incredibly easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this rental to ANYONE looking to rent in the Galveston area. The only negative we could find was that we had to pack up and go home!

This property deserves its five star rating. It has everything, and more in a vacation rental; great location (has to be the best on the island), an abundance of space for a large family or individual groups, unbelievably quiet, close to the Strand and Galveston's numerous historical attractions. We couldn't have had a more enjoyable or memorable stay. I don't think other vacation rentals in the area can compare to this property. It's a perfect house in a perfect location. Wish we were still there!

Having stayed in many places on the Island, this is the best Galveston has to offer. We've stayed here twice and loved it both times, and the new owners are extremely friendly, helpful and easy to work with. Great secluded section of beach where you feel like you have the whole island to yourself, yet very close to some good resturants and shops. Had an amazing extended family Thanksgiving here with plenty of room for multiple families. Will be back again soon!

This is our group's favorite home in Galveston. Spacious, clean, safe area, large rooms and best of all is 6 bedrooms with 6 baths. And it is so close to everything ... just a few minutes to the Strand or anywhere on Seawall Blvd. It has amazing porches and balconies overlooking the Gulf. They are covered and spacious with plenty of furniture to enjoy those beachfront views. We will certainly plan to come again. And since we are a group of singles over 55, the elevator is a life saver for us.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL WELL MAINTAINED HOME IN BEACHTOWN. (EAST BEACH) THE HOME IS IN A VERY QUIET AND SAFE DEVELOPMENT . THE BEACH IS VERY ACCESSIBLE. MY GRANDCHILDREN COULD WALK DOWN TO THE WATER AND I COULD WATCH THEM FROM THE BALCONY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE WHO LOVES THE WATER AND ENJOYS SITTING OUT ON THE DECK WATCHING THE SUNSETS--OR JUST MAKING MEMORIES. BY FAR THE MOST ACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF ANY HOUSE I HAVE EVER RENTED.. WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WE WILL BE BACK

This beach house is the complete package- clean and well-maintained,spacious bedrooms with private baths, large well-equipped kitchen, two refrigerators and ice makers, great HD large screen TV, and nicely appointed living areas. Our family of 12 had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed the warm, cozy atmosphere. The beachfront location provided great views and easy access to the beach. The covered porches were shady, cool, and comfortable. There is plenty of comfortable porch furniture, we ate several meals on the outdoor table.The two garages and elevator were another excellent amenity. All in all, you can't go wrong with this house, it is the best we have rented in 5 years!
Owner response:We always appreciate knowing our guest's thoughts on how we do to make the stay at the beach a great time. This fall we'll be working to upgrade the house to be an even nicer place to come and enjoy. We'd love to have you guys come back down later and see the upgrades...
