If you want to get away and relax with friends and family, the Crooked Lake Cottage is for you. Located in a quiet neighborhood, no other rentals. The cottage has hickory floors in the dining room, along with 2 of the bedrooms. There is a gas fireplace on each floor of the 2 story cottage. The new kitchen is completely furnished, with all the essentials for cooking and barbequing outdoors.
Renters need to bring their own linens. (Sheets and towels) Beds are set up with pillows, comforters, and blankets.
The gradual sandy beach is excellent for small children. It is just 2 steps down into the water off the seawall. Fishing is great, so bring your pole. There is boat rental available from the local marina or bring your own boat and dock it at the cottage on your own private pier.
The sunsets from the north shore of Crooked Lake are incredible. Crooked Lake is a natural 800 acre lake nestled in northeast Indiana. Enjoy the swans, the ducks and the blue herons from your deck. Bring along some extra bread and the children will love feeding the wildlife. If you care to venture from the cottage, you might want to visit Pokagon State Park on beautiful Lake James. The park is a true treasure in Steuben County. It is just 4 miles from the cottage.
