The unit is set in 12 acres of landscaped gardens, with a lighted tennis court, a paddle tennis court, a modern gym on the same floor as the unit, a business center, huge heated pools, a children's area and a shallow fountain pool to romp in, a pool side snack bar and a friendly staff to pamper you all day. The complex is gated, with parking for guests and a bus and taxi stand is at the front gate.

Why the Owner Chose Marina Vallarta
Knowing this town so well, we bought at Portofino on the spot, during the contruction phase. It's the best condo resort project in town- bar none. It's well run, efficient and it's location is superb.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The unit is loaded with extras and we love the beach access of course. The Marina shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk from the condo and it's nice to have the Marriott and Westin so close by as well, sharing the same 4 km long beach.

This condo is gorgeous! From the modern decor, awesome view of the ocean, friendly security and staff, and beautiful Marina, we truly enjoyed our month in 406S Portofino. It is even better than the pictures. Clean, modern furniture, air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen, nice shower, washer/dryer,...everything you could possiby need, is there for you. Owners are extremly helpful and are there to help you whatever the case may be. I highly recommend this unit and/or property. You will enjoy it and not want to leave!

My husband and I recently rented this wonderful condo in the Portofino for 10 days. The unit is well equipped with a washer/dryer and full kitchen. The unit offers beautiful views overlooking the pools to the bay. The staff at the condo were friendly and accomodating.The location was ideal with great restaurants just a short walk away in the marina and nearby resorts. Easy access to downtown by taxi or the bus out front. The complex is quiet and secure. We loved our 1.5 hour massages at the beach at the Krystal by Diana and Linda. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Just returned from our annual winter vacation in PV. Our first time at this great condo -- we found it to be everything we'd hoped for and more. The unit is bright, clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and had everthing we could possibly need. The bed was great, and there is plenty of storage for moving in and staying a while. Loved the spacious lanai and its comfy lounge, the pool with its warmer "spa" area, and the beach with plenty of palapas for lounging as well, gorgeous sunset views at night and whale and boat watching during the day. Staff and facilities of the condo were excellent, and the guys in the snack shack whip up great smoothies/liquados and nachos. The bus to town picked us up right out front. We used the wifi in the room, but the computer room/library is excellent if you don't bring a computer. Our elec bill for a month was just $50 US. Not only would we recommend this unit to our friends, but we are already planning for our trip back next winter. p.s. for a great truly Mexican meal we discovered El Mole de Jovita on Badillo st. in old town.

We have stayed in this condo for the past Four years over the Holidays. Each year we look forward to coming back to PV to enjoy the sun, food and beaches. My two young kids love the Portofino and the condo. Portofino has all the amenities you would want: great pool with a restaurant, exercise room, tennis court, a great view of the sunset and most importantly the best location in PV. A short walk to the Marina has wonderful restaurants and a Starbucks to get your morning coffee. The condo is clean with modern furnishings. It's a nice size for a one bedroom and was perfect for a small family. The balcony overlooking the pool is great to watch the sunset, read a book and have a cerveza. The owner and caretaker of the unit are very easy to work with and provide excellent service. There is no need to look any further as you won't go wrong picking this unit.......!

We recently returned from the Porto Fino and would like to comment on the rental of this lovely apartment. Everything we wanted was there - from a well equipped kitchen to very comfortable living quarters providing ample cupboards and stowage space.. Not that we spent much time indoors, since the huge balcony - which also featured an outdoor couch - was definetely our favourite spot. The lovely view of the ocean, sunsets and the arrival of cruise ships kept us captivated. The kind housekeeper Teresa looked after all requests promptly, if needed.Pool and the manicured garden were impeccable. My favourite spot though was the Palappa area which was quiet, provided shade and privacy and close to waters edge. Needless to say we are already looking forward to our next stay in 2010.

This is a lovely condo with everything in it that you could ask for. The owners and management are very helpful and nice people. The pools are so nice and quiet after being at an All Inclusive we really enjoyed it and the view from the balcony is beautiful. Lots to do and see around the Marina. Resturants and shops near by just a five minute walk away and a bus stop close to go down town. Make sure you eat at Victors at the Marina it is so much fun.

We are the winter "occupants" of this condo and like it so much we'd be happy to live there all year! It's both beautiful and comfortable. And -this condo comes with the best possible owners and property manager. We're looking forward to our third winter in '09 so we feel qualified to guarantee that this is a fabulous place for a vacation!

We rented 406S in April and found it to be exactly as described. The view is wonderful, the living room comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the king bedroon delightful and sexy!!! The best single bedroom in the complex.
