This charming house is tucked away on a 170 acre organic farm. With lots of private woods and pasture, the property has plenty of open space where the kids can wander freely for a game of hide-and-seek, play a game of badminton or bocce ball.
For those with rest in mind, the front patio affords fantastic views of Monument Mountain and Beartown State Forest. The house is oriented to morning sunrise and the early bird can take her morning coffee in view of the cattle pastured nearby. In the afternoon watch the humming birds at the front window.
There are hiking trails on the farm and a swimming hole on the pristine Williams River within minutes walking distance.
Located 7.5 miles from West Stockbridge exit of Massachusetts Turnpike the house is an easy find while at the same time very private. And it is a short distance to all the important Berkshire venues like Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Company, the Berkshire Theatre Festival as well as great local restaurants and cinema.
With approximately 1100 sq. ft. modern living space the house has two bedrooms: one in large loft area overlooking living-room (queen-size bed) with spectacular east views; another on first floor has a double-bed and the cable connection. The kitchen is new with granite counters, new dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. There is hardwood flooring throughout.
