This home yours to enjoy with a fully fenced yard, and an outdoor shower to wash the sand off after your day at the beach.
Minutes from Capitola Beach shopping and restaurants, the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor and the Beach Boardwalk. Walk down the newly constructed stairs at the end of the street to great surfing and boogie boarding (suitable for all levels). With tide pools to explore, dolphins and otters to watch. Bonfires are allowed on this dog friendly beach.
Light, fun, and comfortably decorated in a retro mix of charming prints that enhance the warm pine floors, you will feel instantly at home and at ease. I moved into Peaceful Cottage when I was 24 years old, along with my 2 children. I was able to buy the house after a few years from my landlord who wanted to help a single mom get ahead, from that loving gesture Peaceful Cottage was born. It has provided a garden and a place of comfort near the beach for the last 30 years. I raised my children there and it has been a well loved and used family home. My sons are grown with their own children and live in the neighborhood as do I. We still all love and cherish the home and would love to share it with you.

Had a great time - nice beach nearby and very nice quiet neighborhood. We would love to come again -- recommend to everyone.

Hi, My name is Bowie and I am the dog who owns the people(Desiree and Richard) who stayed in July 07. OK, backyard...perfect! Great bushes and flowers to poke around in. Great fence to bark through. Inside, glass dining table, I can see what they eat! Good carpet, very soft...and I sleep under the bed, lots of room. My humans were very comfortable and well behaved. But the beach? AROOOO! All dogs were friendly, the water was just right! Great beach smells...and nobody uses the leash!...I ran so fast I wore my pads tender!!! OK, here's where I let my human type: Perfect house...with that special patina of a home that has known loving attention and a natural sense of Feng Shui...After a day or two it's easy to imagine living there forever. I wouldn't change a thing. Right Bowie? .......WOOF!

I had a fantastic time at this house. My friends and my dog loved! So close to a great beach area. Fantastic backyard for grilling and hot tubbing. It was more than I even dreamed. Great spot for a relaxing vacation. My friends wanted info about it for future vacations there. Would love to come back.
