Our condo is a 1st floor unit. A 1-stall, attached garage is included. Enjoy the view of the landscaped pond and fountain. It is just a short walk to the indoor and outdoor pools and recreation area. Both pools have ample patio seating for gathering with family and friends. Wi-fi is available at the pool. Kids are often content to spend the day enjoying the pools and play areas right on the property. This adds up to a relaxing day for Mom and Dad!
We put a priority on convenience for our guests. Towels and linens are included. We think you'll also appreciate the many extras at the condo such as beach chairs, water noodles, tennis rackets, high chair, etc., etc. Less packing means less stress getting ready for your vacation!
Fountain View Retreat is well-appointed, featuring a king master suite with a touch of Victorian elegance. The suite includes a private bath with double sinks and cable TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed and is close to the second full bathroom making it suitable for another couple or for kids. It is equipped with cable TV and Nintendo. A queen hide-a-bed in the living room can accomodate additional guests. The kitchen is well-stocked and has a breakfast bar. Dining on the patio is a treat on pleasant summer days.

Would recommend this condo to anyone! Was very spacious and clean. Loved being able to use the garage to store our bikes and stuff. Chantelle (the owner) was responsive to our emails and provided a great deal of information on the condo and the surrounding area. The outdoor and indoor pool area was excellent. We asked to rent an additional night beyond Sat. to Sat. and Chantelle was accommodating (and gave us a great deal). This location was just perfect for exploring all that Door County has to offer! We would absolutely consider this property again for future stays!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed in the condo for a week while visiting DC. We brought along Grandma and our 15 month old daughter. The condo layout and amenities were perfect for our family needs. If we were to visit DC again, I would see if this property was available.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We traveled with 2 small children and this place had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. The indoor pool for the kids was a lot of fun. It did seem to have A LOT of chlorine in it so make sure to save time for shower/baths right after. Great place to stay!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Our three-generation family of six enjoyed spending the first week of August, 2011, at Northhaven in Fish Creek. The location was ideal, providing peace and privacy along with easy accessibility to the many attractions of Door County. All of us were in the indoor and outdoor pools every day, and the grandchildren (ages 11 and 5) made ample use of the many games--both electronic and otherwise--that were thoughtfully provided. Indeed, we have not stayed in a more kid-friendly rental property. We spent a full day at Peninsula Park and also experienced many of the required actives, including golf (both regular and miniature), cherry orchards and wineries, a fish boil, cherry French toast, Shipwrecked beer, big-band jazz at Birch Creek, and corny comedy at the American Folklore Theatre. Sure, Door County is pretty touristy, but it's interesting and occasionally tasteful and tasty touristy. And this condo is a great base of operations.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

My family was delighted with your Northhaven condo! It was the perfect location for us - just across the road from Peninsula State Park where we like to hike, swim and rent boats, and just a short drive to the White Fish Dunes beach for days when we hoped to catch some "big waves." And for rainy days or evening swims, Northhaven's outdoor AND indoor pools were just a short walk away. (My daughter must have slid down the froggy slide a hundred times one evening! And my son was thrilled to find the pool noodles, basketball and tennis rackets available for our use.) And the condo itself was so welcoming and comfortable. We kept saying: "They've thought of everything!" We hope to visit again for a longer stay next time. Thank you!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had a perfectly wonderful week. This was our 8th vacation in Door County but the first at Northhaven. The condo was very clean and so comfortable. We have loved going to Door County for many years. Our Northhaven condo is perfectly located in northern Door County. We are close to Peninsula State Park and many of our favorite restaurants. Northhaven itself is a very family friendly place to relax.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Convenience is key. We keep simple items like lawn chairs, pool toys and tennis equipment at our condo to share with our guests. Less packing for us and for you. It feels like home away from home. It is just a short walk to the Recreation Center to enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools. We also enjoy quiet strolls around the property on the walking trails.
