We traveled with 2 small children and this place had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. The indoor pool for the kids was a lot of fun. It did seem to have A LOT of chlorine in it so make sure to save time for shower/baths right after. Great place to stay!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Door County in Cherry Season

Our three-generation family of six enjoyed spending the first week of August, 2011, at Northhaven in Fish Creek. The location was ideal, providing peace and privacy along with easy accessibility to the many attractions of Door County. All of us were in the indoor and outdoor pools every day, and the grandchildren (ages 11 and 5) made ample use of the many games--both electronic and otherwise--that were thoughtfully provided. Indeed, we have not stayed in a more kid-friendly rental property. We spent a full day at Peninsula Park and also experienced many of the required actives, including golf (both regular and miniature), cherry orchards and wineries, a fish boil, cherry French toast, Shipwrecked beer, big-band jazz at Birch Creek, and corny comedy at the American Folklore Theatre. Sure, Door County is pretty touristy, but it's interesting and occasionally tasteful and tasty touristy. And this condo is a great base of operations.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

Perfect Door County Location!

My family was delighted with your Northhaven condo! It was the perfect location for us - just across the road from Peninsula State Park where we like to hike, swim and rent boats, and just a short drive to the White Fish Dunes beach for days when we hoped to catch some "big waves." And for rainy days or evening swims, Northhaven's outdoor AND indoor pools were just a short walk away. (My daughter must have slid down the froggy slide a hundred times one evening! And my son was thrilled to find the pool noodles, basketball and tennis rackets available for our use.) And the condo itself was so welcoming and comfortable. We kept saying: "They've thought of everything!" We hope to visit again for a longer stay next time. Thank you!

Had a wonderful time with our two young daughters. Your condo is beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for our family. Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, walking trails, and fountain view. Couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable experience.

We had a perfectly wonderful week. This was our 8th vacation in Door County but the first at Northhaven. The condo was very clean and so comfortable. It was conveniently located and we really enjoyed the walking trails and all the other amenities.

This was the perfect place to stay and relax, away from the crowds, but not too far from anything. Beautiful area,clean,lots to do, great view, quiet. Would definetly come back again!

What can we add! The condo was great, there's plenty to do, and wonderful places to shop and eat. We were there 5 nights and it wasn't enough.

Condo was perfect retreat with 3 small children. Easy access to bike trail in Peninsula State Park, shopping in Fish Creek, fun in on site pools - daily, ....... Very clean and well kept place!!!! Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to stay.

This condo was wonderful, great location, many things to do right in the condo area. We went to Sister Bay and all over Door County. Try to find Fred and Fuzzy's to eat. Great view and atmosphere. We rented a Kayak in Sister Bay for three days and get the map. The renter marked the map with all the great kayaking places and we did them all. It was a fabulous vacation and the condo was very clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay in Door County! One mile to Peninsula State Park entrance for beautiful biking or Fish Creek for dinner and shopping! Close to Ephraim and Peninsula State Park Golf Course too. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools and tennis courts. Really warm and inviting. We had everything we needed for a great stay! Thanks again.

We had a great time at your condo. Where do I begin with all the memories we had of polar plunge (Grandma especially getting her boot full of snow!:), New Year’s Day, all the cool candy shops, and all the shopping centers. We had a great time out and about during the day, it was nice to go back to the condo and an enjoyable pool area. We basically had the pool to ourselves! We had a great time and can’t wait to go back to your lovely place in the fall to see all the different colored leaves.

Very Nice condo in an outstanding location. We were here Thurs to Mon and found Fish Creek to be the center of everything we wanted to do. The condo itself exceeded our expectations. The kiddie pool was a hit with our two year old. There were great restaraunts close by and of course the state park is just minutes away. We'll be back!

We arrived here on Wed. evening and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Your condo is so "homey" and the fall colors were great! We visited Cana Island and the lighthouse yesterday. That was so interesting! Also, we enjoyed touring Washington Island. All the shops were fun places and the food was super! The cherry stuffed French toast at the White Gull Inn was really a treat! Arrived Friday night and enjoyed shrimp stuffed lobster at C&C Supper Club. Visited Stone's Throw Winery. Had fabulous prime rib at Greenwood Supper Club. Enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Shopped of course! You have a beautiful place. So relaxing we hated to leave.

Thanks for the use of the condo. Its a very nice place! Fish Creek is a neat place. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Washington Island was very cool, neat, awesome. The girls swam alot in the pool.

What a great vacation. Just what our family needed. On Day 1 we just "lazed" around the indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, etc. Rode our bikes around the trails. Very nice. Fish Creek is a beautiful little town. Bought a great cherry pie from the Fish Creek Market... awesome. Great sunset viewing at Ellison Bluff County Park. Behind the pool and volleyball court here, there are picnic benches and fire pit. We had an excellent viewing of Perseid meteor shower and roasted marshmallows. We had a great dinner here on the patio. Thanks R & C. This is just the vacation our family needed.

It has been a great week! We have been to Door County before and have always loved our times here. We especially like the Edgewood Orchard Gallery and the Birchcreek big band concerts. This time we went to the American Folklore Theater and really enjoyed it. You have a lovely and comfortable home, and we appreciated how well organized and clean it is. We have truly enjoyed our stay here.
