Castleview is situated on an elevated position in one of the most beautiful villages of France, Druyes les Belles Fontaines, with an uninterrupted view of the village and the castle.The village is situated in the Burgundy wine region of France at approximately 35 kilometres south of Auxerre, 20 kilometres from Clamecy, 40 kilometres from the popular town of Vezelay.
The region is famous for its wine growing activity but also boost many leisure activities with open air nautical sports facilities at 12 kilometres in Coulanges sur Yonne, celebrated medieval site of Guedelon at 20 kilometres, swimming and outdoors at the Lac du Bourdon 20 kilometres away and the beautiful park of Boutissaint with its wildlife approximately 25 kilometres from the house.
The village itself offers a general food store with fresh bread and a good selection of local produces and a Logis de France auberge:restaurant where gastronomic food can be enjoyed. The house offers an ideal holiday base from which to explore a region rich in history with the added advantage of beautiful landscape.
