Your island escape is waiting. Green Castle Estate House is a lovely private villa on a historic 1600 acre Estate. Green Castle is located on a beautiful undeveloped section of the North coast of Jamaica. It boasts spectacular mountain and sea views in a unique and authentically Jamaican setting. The old world charm and new world comforts of our villa make an excellent base to explore the natural and cultural beauty of the island.

The Estate House is one of the first tourism initiatives for Green Castle, which means that your stay is important to us. We all like the chance to meet, greet and make our guests feel welcome. A stay at the Estate House is like having a personal resort on your private Estate. Our secluded and intimate location makes for a perfect get-away, a romantic honeymoon, or a unique family vacation. The Estate House offers 3 main bedrooms all with private baths, spectacular views over the landscape, the Caribbean Sea and the Blue Mountains.

For nature lovers, Green Castle and the surrounding area offers a variety of activities and sights to explore the natural beauty of Jamaica. The Estate itself has miles of farm roads, you can take a walk among organically grown coconut, pimento and cocoa trees. The diversity of ecosystems on the property makes for excellent birding, with over 100 species sighted on Green Castle, including 18 of the 28 endemics. You can also enjoy close to a mile of coast which includes Jacks Bay, Green Castle's beach, the Blue Hole and our cliff side walk. There is always your private pool for a refreshing swim, or the fabulous views from your veranda to sooth your worries and ensure a relaxing get away.

Green Castle can help you put together the type of week that meets your travel interests. We can assist you in arranging transportation and a week full of activities that range from going hiking on Green Castle to rafting on the Rio Grande. Ocho Rios is an hour to the west and boasts shopping and more traditional tourist activities such as Dunns River Falls, Dolphin Cove and Prospect Plantation. Portland Parish is an hour to the east, and offers beaches, culinary and nature based activities such as Frenchmens Cove, Boston Jerk and Mille Fleurs restaurant. Volunteering is always appreciated in Robins Bay if you would like the chance to give some of your time. The local community of Robins Bay is a safe and visitor friendly village that will welcome you for a Red Stripe or a friendly game of dominos. Dinner in the local community is offered and recommended as one of the meal options.
