Pigeon Forge cabin description
'COUNTRY COMFORT” our vacation rental cabin, in the country, on the north end of Pigeon Forge, is centrally located close to GATLINBURG, DOLLYWOOD and less than 5 minutes to the PARKWAY. TANGER OUTLET MALL, APPLE BARN, TROLLEY, NASCAR Speedpark, Five Oaks Riding Stables, Logan's Roadhouse, Longhorn and more. The TITANIC Museum is approx 3.3 miles away. You will love this serene location. Convenient (LESS TIME IN TRAFFIC) and easy access to everything. Making it easy to discover all that Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville have to offer.
With 2 MASTER SUITES and 2 WHIRLPOOL TUBS, our cabin will comfortably accommodate up to six. However, it is perfect for two couples or as a romantic getaway for two. Each of the bedrooms with their KING SIZE BEDS and their CONNECTING BATHS (one with tub/shower/whirlpool and the other with whirlpool/shower) has been warmly decorated with themes of the area. The KITCHEN is fully equipped with all you need to cook a last minute meal or an entire holiday dinner. The FULL SIZE LAUNDRY ROOM is clean and bright and gives you plenty of space to take care of all your laundering needs.
In less than .7 miles you are at your country rental. You are not climbing steep mountain roads for miles, yet you are at a tranquil escape that grants you with all you need! Take a deep breath and enjoy the peace and quiet. Rock on the FRONT PORCH and watch the sun come up over the MOUNTAIN TOP, nestle into the HAMMOCK and listen to the serene sounds of nature, and sit on the back DECK to watch the sunset. We feel the best thing to do at “Country Comfort” is nothing at all!
However, if sightseeing is on the agenda; enjoy all the local attractions. There's no end to the opportunities that await you. After; return home to relax in the WHIRLPOOLS, on the DECK or PORCH or curled up by the FIREPLACE, and watch a movie or play FOOSBALL/HOCKEY or one of the several board games provided.

We have stayed at this spacious 2BR/2BA cabin a couple of times for "weekend getaways". Always a great time! It is conveniently located to major attractions, lots of great restaurants and of course the Tanger Outlets ( my favorite!!). The first night we were there I accidentally locked the door wrong before going out to eat late at night returning to find we were locked out. Luckily, the caretaker lives only 2 cabins down as was kind enough to come up after 11pm at night and let us back in!!! Edye was very helpful in making our transaction.. Totally enjoyed our weekend of going to the Titanic Museum, shopping at the outlets and eating at our favorite place The Applebarn!

The cabin is perfect for families that like to be on the go and have somewhere to return to that is peaceful. The kitchen was well furnished, the beds were comfortable. The whirlpool tub/shower in one bath is difficult to step into if you have shorter legs, as it is quire deep. There are quite a few steps required to enter the cabin in the front, so I would not recommend this location to someone with knee problems. I was disappointed there was only one DVD player, and it was in one of the bedrooms, also, as this is in the country and there is not satellite or cable available, DO NOT expect much in the way of tv reception, the HD box and rabbit ears did not provide any reception in the living room, one channel in one bedroom, and 3 options in the other bedroom. As the listing indicates, bring your on water to drink, as it tastes bad and smells of sulphur, which I know is not unusual for some wells.

Owner response: Teresa; Thank you for staying and the review. Future Renters; The whirlpool tub/shower in one bath is deep (not a standard tub). Please read and notice, Vacation Rental Features o There are 16 steps for entry. o TV (No Cable/Satellite) (3) : TV's, w/o Satellite on Digital Converters. o DVD o Video Library o We recommend to bring and drink bottled water. The Digital Converters receive all local and PBS channels (12). When we arrived we checked, the Digital Converter in LR, was unplugged. The water varies. If constant usage or allowed to run it is clear, good, w/ no smell. We are here now, and no smell. I had made an error and quoted this stay with a rigorous discount (it was less than what a campsite would be) Over 66% for this stay.
My wife and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this weekend of July 15-17. We have visited the Pigeon Forge area several times and have stayed in several different cabins. This by far was the most memorable time that we have spent there. The cabin location is perfect, close enough to town to get in your car and enjoy the area attractions while still having a secluded mountain cabin feel for the peace and quiet. The owners of this property were by far the most courteous and accommodating that I have ever dealt with. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit this area. I am already making plans for a longer stay next year!

This was nothing like we expected! The cabin was nasty, the sinks and tubs couldn't have been cleaned in a long time, rust rings and filthy bowl in most of them. There were cobwebs in the doorways, dead roaches on the table, sinks and floors, toilets had been used and not even flushed. The owner tried to act like it was no big deal and just a normal thing for a cabin. Don't know what they are used to but that isn't like any cabin or ANY place I would stay. They even sent a nasty email when they finally agreed to refund my money. Save your money, stay elsewhere!

Owner response: Dear Renters; You can check our reviews, for the past four plus years, and see the satisfied renters and stars received. We have not had issues. I have a satisfaction survey in the cabin, which renters are asked to complete and leave. We always get highest marks and nice comments on the cleanliness of our cabin. Our cleaning crew is very dedicated and make sure the renters are happy. We work very hard to provide a clean cabin. We are active owners who take pride in sharing our cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains with others. This renter completed the transaction, which includes signing a Rental Agreement which includes: INSECTS/ANIMALS The cabin is treated, but these are in the Great Smoky Mountains and sometimes we have unwanted little guests that might decide to visit you and your family. CANCELLATION POLICY A cancelation MUST BE MADE IN WRITING, to Owner. Cancellations made within 14 - 1 days / day of the arrival date, forfeit 50% of total rents or one night’s rent (whichever is greater) (plus Pay Pal Fees).. No transfer can be made once the reservation has been confirmed. When the renter called, he stated there were two dead bugs and a stain in the sink. At no time did we act as if it was no big deal. We were very concerned. Our maintenance man went to our cabin within minutes of them leaving. He said; there were a couple dead bugs, not roaches, on the floor in the bathroom, and a well water mark on the sink. That is it. This has been remedied. We called out the exterminator. He said they are ground beetles, not roaches! I truly believe my cleaning crew, exterminator and maintenance man. They are fine, truthful, people. They do not deserve these invalid accusations, against their character / business. We did not want an unhappy renter and of course would refund his money. Which I did! Not finally as he stated, but right away. I never received a reply from him. I went above and beyond. I discounted the rate, two times, lost four other interested renters, and refunded 100% of his money, when contractually I did not have to. I always do what is right and truly care about people. As you know, there are two sides to every story. To keep this response to a minimum I did not write everything I should/could have. If you would like to know more of the facts, I am happy to explain them! I am confident people are knowledgeable and will see the reality!
This cabin was great for my family and parents. My parents stayed in one bedroom. My husband and I stayed in the other. Our 11 year old slept on the pull out couch bed. It was a quite area, but still close to everything, especially the Titanic. We choose to cook a few meals and had the pots & pans to do that. Thanks for letting us enjoy the nice cabin! Great people to work with and we love the neighbors.

The cabin provided a comfortable and quiet place for us to crash after visiting Dollywood and the Tanger Outlets. The jacuzzi tubs were a hit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It is very convenient to all the attractions of Pigeon Forge but has the feel of a country setting. The cabin is very private, nicely decorated, and has all the conveniences of home. The kitchen is particulary well supplied. We would definitely stay there again.

Why the Owner Chose Pigeon Forge:
We went to Tn Christmas of 2006, at the request of our friends who had a vacation rental there. We had been to the area before, and liked it. After this trip we loved the people, the area, and everything about it! So, we went house hunting. If you need a good Real Estate Agent, for Knox, Sevier or Blount County, please contact me and I can refer you to the Agent we used. She was wonderful!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
