The condo itself was extremely clean and well kept. The photos are extremely accurate. It is beautifully decorated and has plenty of room. The washer and dryer were a blessing! We had a great time in Gulfport. The Children's museum, carnival, and Water mammal museum were wonderful! The beach is a little hike from this property (as it is in the back) but clean and my 2 year old loved playing in the sand! I do have a few complaints about the property. First.....if you or your kids like trains, this is the place to stay as the tracks are about 50 feet behind condo and there is a crossing less than 1/2 a block away. A little loud at times (I realize they have no control over this but I feel it should be mentioned). The playground and pool are right behind the condo which is wonderful. The playground has great equipment but is a muddy swamp. It rained the first day we were there and my 2 year old still couldn't play there by the end of the week. Where the trash needs to go should to be a little clearer. We had two bags in the garage left from the people who stayed before us and boy did it stink. I called the Management company three times and we finally sat them outside. After security came and told us to move it (I was not putting it in my car to take to the dumpster), I called a fourth time and finally someone came to pick it up.Recommended for: Families with young children.

I am so sorry that the rain caused the playground to be unusable for the week. Having a playground and the pool so close is one of the benefits of staying at our place. I have addressed with our onsite management company the issue with the garbage from another renter being left in the garage and hope that this is not a problem in the future. We want all our guests to have a pleasant experience from the moment they arrive to their departure. Thank you again for staying at the Villas at Legacy. We hope to see you again in the future.

My family of 5 (w/ kids 8, 6, 4 yrs) just returned from a 5 night stay, we had a fabulous time. The pool and hot tub being just outside the condo was a favorite of all and were almost exclusively ours for the duration of our stay - both the pool and hot tub were great for young children. The condo itself was clean and just as pictured, and the kitchen was well equipped. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed in this Villa July 10th - 13th 2008. Our absolute favorite part was being SO close to the beautiful pool and play ground. We spent much of our time in the pool and it was truly relaxing for the entire family. We also enjoyed how roomy the Villa was and how beautiful it was decorated. Checking in and out was a breeze and the owner was very helpful with any and all questions I had. About the owner: Mark and I bought this unit with the intention to retire here. However, our grandchildren are in another city and we've decided to keep it on the rental program at this time. We hope that you will enjoy your stay at our second home. Mark and Kathy
Why the Owner Chose Gulfport:
We bought this unit because it's close enough to drive on a Friday afternoon; but, far enough to feel like we are truly getting away. We love to drive along long peaceful stretch of beach, we love our unit (it's so relaxing), we love the ease of shopping and getting from one place to another, we love to buy and cook fresh shrimp, and I like to visit the casinos. Notice I said 'I.' My husband can find lots of fun things to do while I enjoy my time gaming at the local casinos. This place has something for everyone! Enjoy!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
While here, I forget about work!! The kids and grandkids love the playground, pool, beach, and the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center which are all really close to our unit. We are close to the coliseum for lots of fun events and really close to the mall for early Christmas shopping without all the crowds! The church we attend is just down the road (many denominations can be found in the area) and we love that we can leave the unit 5 minutes before the service and still get a good seat.
