The condo is great for a family. We had a relaxing time on Molokai staying here. The condo is beautifully designed and even has nice kitchenware. There are other items such as beach chairs that we did not get a chance to use. The outdoor grills were nice as well, and finally the lanai has nice views of the beach/sea. There is hardly any traffic so location at one end of the island is not really an issue. The complex is friendly. Highly recommend this area for sunsets and views of Diamondhead.

Beautiful, peaceful place

Really nice accommodations, and a great place to relax on Molokai. The unit is very nicely remodeled, with a beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Living room is spacious, and outside lanai has nice partial views of the three-mile beach. Would easily fit 4 people comfortably. Great beach just a short walk away (but was a bit rough when we were there over Thanksgiving). A car is a must, since everything else is a drive, but that's true on all of Molokai.

November 11, 2011 To celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary we wanted a special place. Finding this condo on Molokai was the perfect choice with both ambiance and location. The decorator certainly has an eye for beauty and quality. The furnishings are exquisite yet comfortable and the view spectacular. The beaches are incredible and the Mule Ride down to Kalaupapa, the main reason we went to Molokai, was too amazing to describe. The history of the island and its people will remain with us always, among our favorite memories. Cathy made us feel so welcome. She was most helpful and we appreciate the care she took to insure we had a meticulously clean and secure accommodation. Molokai is truly the friendly and most beautiful island. Molokai home base

We stayed for a few nights in the off-peak and used the condo as "base camp" to explore the island as first-time visitors to Molokai. I picked this unit, as it appeared to have been nicely renovated (something to consider, as most condos on Molokai are a little older). We were very happy with the overall unit and enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen areas appeared newly renovated and were very comfortable. Tim's interior design finishes made this feel more like a nice hotel room vs just a standard condo. The distant views out the living room to 3 mile beach were fantastic. The proximity to the west coast beaches were excellent for either a short walk or 5 minute drive. Getting over to the other parts of the island was easy and our location provide a scenic drive when we were coming and going. While we spent most of our time traveling around and exploring the island, I would say the only item that could be improved in the unit is updating the TV.... I would certainly recommend this unit as a place to enjoy Molokai for couples and even small families. Since it is a ground floor unit, that is something that you have to consider when selecting the unit... tradeoff is being able to leave windows open while you are our vs being able to walk right out on to the expansive lawn.... While visiting, we did the mule ride down to Kalaupapa (the former Leper colony), a trip worth taking if you don't have any back or height issues. The adventure and history elements are a great way to spend a day. If you rent a smaller car, I would also recommend the drive to the East end of the Island. Halawa Valley is a beautiful contrast to the West Coast.

Relaxed in Molokai

We enjoyed staying in Ke Nani Kai. The condo was very well appointed and decorated, though the photos do make it appear larger than it is. The view was lovely, and we enjoyed the pool area and hot tub. Molokai was super relaxing. We would recommend a stay in this unit for a party of 4.

Molokai getaway

Excellent condo, decorated very nicely. Bathrooms were outstanding, very elegant. We felt very safe at this location, slept with doors open and only the screens. Cool ocean breezes and sound of surf made sleeping very easy. This was the restful, laid back Hawaii we remembered from years ago on Maui.

Excellent condo. Decorated very nicely. Bathrooms were outstanding, very elegant. We felt very secure on the property and slept with doors open with only the screens. Cool ocean breezes and sound of the surf made sleeping extremely easy. This was the simpler more restful Hawaii we remembered from Maui years ago.

Great condo in Molokai

Our stay in Molokai was wonderful. The condo was nicely equipped with a beautiful view. It is perfect for two couples. Our daughter and son-in-law joined us and they also loved their bedroom. The view from the lanai is absolutely beautiful. We just loved sitting out there and taking in nature. It was also great to have the beach chairs and the cooler to take for a day at the beach. We definitley would stay here again.

Peaceful Retreat

The owners of this peaceful retreat have taken every step to assure comfort. Clean and beautiful furnishings, modern plumbing fixtures, and soft linens. Pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ's on the premises. We look forward to staying again when we return to Molokai.

Before, during and after, Tim was a pleasure to work with as he was quick to respond to all inquiries. The photos absolutely represented the condo very well, it was gorgeous and plush and we felt like we were staying in a magazine photo spread. The kitchen was equipped with high quality equipment and tools but bring your own seasonings as the ones here were just for show. The beach wasn't close enough to hear the waves but the view was stupendous and the absolute quiet was a nice change from the hustle and bustle. Bring food and beverages as it isn't quick to run out to get something. The location was clean and well-kept and the cleaning lady called to check on our visit and our planned departure time, it was a nice, personal touch. If visiting the area again, this will be my first choice!

Kaluakoi is a great spot to stay on Molokai. Tennis courts, pool, and hot tub all in excellent condition and we used them all daily. Grounds very nicely kept. We have stayed here before in different units and this is by far the most unique interior and best equipped. Working with owner and housekeeper very personable and efficient. Highly recommend.

to get all the details of this beautiful place. If you like getting away from high rises, shopping malls and traffic lights Molokai is the place to go. To top this vacation you want to stay at this condo with its wonderful interior and everything you need for your stay. Of course no food is provided but the rest is. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay after being a week at a ranch near Tucson as the perfect getaway. We recommend this condo also for the very personal treatment by the owner and the lady that looks after housekeeping. If we ever manage to get back we will see that we can stay at this condo. Tim, thank you for everything.

Fabulous Getaway

We can't say enough great things about this unit. Most Hawaii condos and homes are cluttered with the standard rattan couch and tacky flowery fabric, loose shells etc. Not this place. It is so exquisite in its clean design and interior design. We felt right at home. Maybe because we appreciate the modern lines and style but also because it is outfitted with everything you would want. The fridge was equipped with creamer for coffee, hot sauce, peanut butter, jam, and many other things that are REALLY nice to have and not have to go buy. There were even spices to cook with. Which made it so easy to cook comfortably since there aren't a lot of restaurant choices on the island. A lot of thought went into outfitting the place so that people don't have to go buy things like a cooler, beach chairs, even a CD for your car with Hawaiian music :) We wanted a honeymoon that gave us serenity and beaches by ourselves. And that is what we got. The west side was definately our favorite after touring around. The other sides are all beautiful and fun to go check out, but there was something very remote and private about the beaches on the west side we loved. The owners were very helpful and quick to get back with me whenever I had a question. The second day we were there the Housekeeper called to make sure we were okay and didn't need anything too which was so nice. She offered lots of suggestions on where to go as well. We wanted to take care of the condo like our own it was just so beautiful and clean. We will be back and will make sure to tell our friends and family as well.

The unit was wll organized and appointed. It's not too far from some beautiful beaches and great sunsets. Rent a 4-wheel drive and explore the island!

I could talk about this place all day and even with the beautiful decor and awesome bathrooms (showers, sinks, floors, etc..), but the view you have out on this great lanai is priceless and it does not hurt to turn around and see your wonderful condo and enjoy mixing a cocktail in this fabulous kitchen... Please let me stop--- you get it, now go!!!

The check-in process was easy and smooth. Every amenity is provided for you in this condo - linens, towels for beach and bath, sundries, fans, books and magazines, bose sound system, gourmet style kitchen with full equipment for cooking. The grounds are gorgeous with tropical fruit trees and manicured lawns. If you're up for a chance to relax and enjoy old Hawaii, without the mainland inspired outlet malls and same restaurants you see back at home, then this is definitely the place to stay.

We three 40 something women decided to visit Molokai for my 40th birthday. I searched the websites & came across this vacation property. The internet pictures looked wonderful, and in real life was even better. The interior design was lavishly decorated & right out of designer magazines. The property has a beautiful ocean view, and wildlife to boot. Tim was most excellent to deal with, responding promptly to emails and phone calls. The staff at the complex was ever so friendly, attending to our every need. I highly recommend this property, and look forward to my return in the future.

I was fortunate to find this luxury condo rental on the web. Professionally decorated, well-maintained, very clean, and fully furnished. I had everything I needed. The condo owner and caretaker provided excellent customer service. I read reviews during my search for a place to stay in Molokai and almost all of them has something to say about bugs and other gross pests. Lucky for me, other than a few tinie, bittie ants -- I did not see anything else. I was very good in keeping the food in the fridge and left no crumbs so the ants had no reason to stick around. Overall, I found an excellent place to stay in Molokai. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. Oh, I received a full refund of the security deposit within a few days after my departure.
