Location: Seaside, Northern Coast, Oregon, USA (10 Min Walk to the Turnaround and 2 Min Walk to Golf Course)
Accommodations: House, 5 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 10-12)
Our home sits right on the Promenade in Seaside Oregon and has unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean (whale watching), the surfers and the vacationers walking on the Prom. The deck in the front makes it very enjoyable to sit and sunbath or read while enjoying the view.
The inside of the house has been brought up to date with new furniture, hardwood floors and paint. We did however maintain the cozy warm feeling that a warm fireplace at the beach brings, especially when it's stormy. The reading room upstairs is especially enjoyable for those that like to read and we also provide WIFI service to those lap top dedicated workers.
In the basement we have a 50" plasma TV with cable and a nice warm gas fireplace so the sports enthusiasts can enjoy their games in a retro-bar and then take a nap. It's really a "Man Cave", as my wife calls it. And there are dvd and/or vhs players on every floor so you can watch movies.
The bathrooms were totally remodeled in March 2008 and even have heated floors. Renters thus far have been very impressed.
The kitchen, which was remodeled in May 2009, has seating at the table for at least 10-12 for those family reunions or larger groups. We also provide a high chair for the little ones. I know we've built some wonderful memories while sitting and eating.
From June 15th until September 15th, we only rent by the week. The rest of the year we have a two night minimum, except three day weekends where the minimum is three nights.
In the winter of 2009/spring of 2010, we will be completing the remodeling. The upstairs will get some new furnishings, the main floor will get new flooring and the basement will get a total overhaul, from the tile to a new gas fireplace. It will definitely be cozy for everyone.

Positive Rating
We provide a quest book at the house that has many wonderful stories of peoples visits. Since we have numerous repeat summer renters, I think it must be well worth the cost. We hope your family builds great memories here too.
