Why the Owner Chose Carpinteria
This beach is the most beautiful wide, sandy beach in the Santa Barbara area. Most of the year you can surf/kayak right in front of the house. Also, except for the 2 1/2 months in the summer this very special beach has on most days just a handful of people and feels very peaceful. Safe and friendly neighborhood. House feels private and has security system if you feel you need it. One of the few beach houses in the Santa Barbara area with direct access to a dry sandy beach. Our beachfront deck sits up about 4 feet above the beach and is surrounded by a railing and gate affording a unique feeling of privacy. It's furnished with comfortable all weather wicker couch, love seat and rocker and coffee table. Hanging geraniums and flower pots. Below the deck is another seating area on the sand with a standing firepit. (We have roasting forks ~ for hotdogs or marshmallows.)
The Unique Benefits of this House
There is a summer waterfront camp run by the City of Carpinteria just 4 blocks away. My daughter attended this camp and loved it! Really nice staff of lifeguards who also have kayaks for rent. Half or full day. Also a Junior Lifeguards Program.
