My experience renting in Berlin was flawless, Stefan was easy to get in touch with and prompt in his responses. The Azure studio was exactly as promised in the advert ,clean and very well appointed. The area was safe and very easy to get around from. Five minute walk to grocery ,UBahn. Internet cafe very close if you have to print something. Get the 7 day transit ticket at the UBahn station remember to have €20.00 bills, machine doesn't accept fifty bill.I plan to return to Berlin and will defianatly rent from Berlin Habitat again. My only very small concern was that the addition of a microwave would have been useful.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This centrally located apartment was very nice and extremely convenient. There are restaurants and a supermarket right next door. The subway is close and it's an easy walk to the center of the city. The park view is great. The secure parking (extra fee) under the building was perfect for us with our new car! The kitchen could have been a little cleaner, but that was minor. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: The guests complained that the handles of the kitchen cabinets were a little sticky. Cleaning staff has been advised to wipe cabinet handles every cleaning from now on.

I rented apartments in three cities on a recent trip through Germany & Austria, and this was the best located and nicest of the lot (also the priciest--but worth it). This was my first time using VRBO and Wimdu, and I'd definitely go this route again. I stayed in the Isabella 1-brdrm, which is located just steps (really) from the Hackesher Markt S-bahn stop and within easy walking distance of the Hackesche Höfe, scores of restaurants, and a supermarket. It's also a quick walk to both Alexanderplatz, Museumsinsel, and Unter den Linden. Is about as central as it could be. Felt like I'd hit the jackpot when I started exploring the city from here. The apartment is newly refurbished (and nicely so)--great little kitchen, a large living area with sectional, a large bedroom w/ two beds, good closet space, etc. If I had a complaint, it would be that they could use another picture or two on the walls. [In other words, there's nothing to complain about.] Leaving the window open at night for ventilation let in quite a bit of street noise (I was there during the Euro soccer championship, so there was probably more of this than normal), but earplugs solved that. I briefly considered staying in another neighborhood (Kreuzberg), but that would have been a mistake. Because of the location and quality of this apartment, this was easily my favorite rental, and I'd definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This place was just so BEYOND our expectations it blew our minds. My husband and I stayed in one of their condos in the same complex - I've never seen such a clean and beautiful vacation home. Grace gave us a warm welcome and explained everything when we first walked in. This is after we came from traveling in Copenhagen and Stockholm. We were starting to get tired of staying in small European hotel rooms and when we walked into this place, we were like,, now THIS is a vacation. We actually liked staying in this place better than going out. :-) We were so well-rested in Berlin, I feel like out of the seven places we visited during our trip, I love this place the most. Grace and Stefan are amazing hosts. I recommend this place to anyone with big TEN stars. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed in the Capri studio for a week. It was perfect for us. It's really close to the supermarket and plenty of bars and places to eat. The balcony overlooking the park was quite relaxing. The huge window view inside the apartment made for relaxing meals in.The public transportation is 5 min walking distance from the apartment. Stefan and his wife Grace were amazingly helpful. He was there when we got in (very late at night) and since our flight our didn't leave until later in the day his wife offered to watch our bags in her home while we finished sightseeing. If we ever get the chance to return to Berlin we will definitely stay in one of Stefan's apartments.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent a week in the one bedroom apartment and enjoyed every minute. It was quiet, well equipped, and clean. The property is located near all major public transportation and there are two large grocery stores within walking distance - one uphill and one downhill. Stefan is a very accommodating host; he even arranged for our taxi back to Tegel at the end of our stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Berlin; it is a great value for the money!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This was a fantastic location. Easy access via transportation or walking to many sites. Grocery and laundry close by as well as several small resturants, a pharmacy and other small retailers. The pictures/photos were very accurate. The apartment was spotless and well appointed. The balcony overlooked a nice park and we enjoyed the sound of the children at the pre-school next door. (Only when the windows were open). We really felt like we were a part of the neighborhood. Stefen was very helpful and was accessible as needed. We would reccomend this apartment to friends and family with no reservations. Parkview Sepia was a great fit for my first visit to Berlin. The property was spotless, the view of the park relaxing, and proximity to Rosenthaler Platz U Bahn, grocery store, ATM, and laundromat - all just a few minutes walk down the hill- were ideal. Stefan was very accessible and helpful. The description and photos were accurate. Without hesitation I would recommend this property for one or two individuals - the area is safe and the flat very quiet except when the children are enjoying the playground in the park. A week in Berlin at Parkview Sepia was the perfect start to my month in Germany.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We three adult family members stayed in the Grand Suite. It was great, with the living room usable as the bedroom for the third member. A small balcony overlooking the park is great on nice evenings. The kitchen and bathroom were both very nice. Stefan was very helpful and attentive. The location is very good for the "eastern" hub of the city. It is within a comfortable walk of Museum Insel or Alexanderplatz, for a walker. Also the Rosenthalerplatz U-Bahn station is very close and a streetcar runs just next to the building. The building is in a nice neighborhood with the park and restaurants close by.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

I wanted to try to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel for our 8 days in Berlin and this was a Great Choice! It is a nice neighborhood and the studio was quiet, no neighbor, park or street noise. Just the sound of chirping birds and church bells ringing. The park view is great and you can also see the TV tower off in the distance from the balcony. The Heating unit in the apartment worked fine and Wifi was Great! The kitchen is fully equipped and came in handy some days. Stefan was really accommodating and helpful before our arrival and during our stay. I really loved having more room and privacy in this studio apartment than stay in a stuffy hotel for a week. My boyfriend was not sure about staying in the apartment at first, but at the end of our stay, he admitted it was a Great idea. If you like to walk, walking to the center of Berlin is pretty easy. But the Ubhan is easy to figure out and ride on. The Berlin Welcome card is a really great value. Also, try renting Bikes! It's a very bike friendly city. In summary, I will stay at these apartments again, and recommend them for anyone. I felt safe and welcome in Berlin.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
