Our beautiful one bedroom condo at Hale Kamaole in Kihei is comfortable and spacious at 850 square feet, and can accommodate two adults in the queen sized bed and two others on the pull out couch in the livingroom.

In October 2008 we completed a full kitchen and bathroom remodel, which also included repainting the entire unit. It looks like a brand new unit. It’s a ground floor unit, so we walk directly out onto open, landscaped grounds - and within no more than 2 minutes walk from our unit (literally) you are at the beach - the first of the three Kamaole beaches that are a great walk during the day and wonderful for swimming and snorkeling. The complex itself has two swimming pools, one tennis court (free), and open barbeque areas where guests often gather to cook and socialize in the evenings. It’s a truly magical place where families, newly-weds and friends come for vacations.

Kihei is on the southern side of Maui, on the slopes of Haleakala, and is without question the sunniest part of the island. Hale Kamaole is located at the southern-most end of Kihei - pretty much the last complex in Kihei before reaching the resort community of Wailea. In fact, there’s a lovely ocean path directly across from Hale Kamaole to walk to Wailea – driving, it’s about 5 minutes. There’s so much to do on Maui - sightseeing, snorkeling, surfing, golf, fishing, sailing, hiking, windsurfing, shopping – or nothing at all. If you want to do it all there’s an activities desk at the complex that will help you arrange any trips or outings you want. If you want to do nothing but hang out on the beach you can do that at Hale Kamaole, and then you won’t even need a car. Once you get here from the airport the beach, shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance, if that’s your preference. Maui no ka oi!

    • This condo is so wonderful. The convenient location to many beaches, and many other venues makes it just the right spot. The recent upgrades to the cabinets, and countertops makes it especially nice. The beach park across the street is wonderful and always so convenient to enjoy the sunset each evening.

    • What a great Condo, the grounds are nicely maintained easy access to the pool and the beach and centrally located. This was our second visit to Maui our first was on the other side of the island in a condo and this side was by far the best! We are looking forward to visiting again and staying in this unit!

    • Pretty darned perfect! When we came the place was clean, inviting, and very comfortable (we slept like babies!) We felt totally at home in the nice-sized kitchen and bathroom (this by NYC standards, anyway) and the front desk staff could not have been more delightful! Top that off with a beautiful beach right across the street...who could ask for anything more?

    • We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and well stocked. The grounds are well maintained, the pool was nice and warm. The beach across the road is one of the nicer ones. The office staff were friendly and helpful. Katherine, the owner was very accomodating and provided lots of useful information. Overall, it made our stay in Maui a very pleasant experience. We would recommend this condo to others as well.

    • This was our first trip to Maui. For the first week, we stayed at a resort in Ka'anapali and the second we stayed in this condo. The experience in the condo was so much better! The condo had all the amenities it needed and was an excellent location. We walked Kamaole Beach every night before bed, the showers conveniently located on our way back to the condo. Great lanai, very well stocked lanai closet. Next time in Hawaii we will definitely stay here again!

    • We stayed in the condo in early October 2007 and had a wonderful time. While the condo is located directly across the street from a nice beach, there are lots of other beaches to explore close by. The location is also convenient to shopping and resturants, and the proximity to Wailea is great! The condo has everything you might need by way of amenities.

    • Katherine & Dean : So many positives, don't know where to start : condo was immaculate, all appliances are new, 30 seconds to the crystal-clear pool from the main-floor lanai, all beach equip was provided - (towels, snorkels, umbrellas, beach chairs, cooler) , and no-charge internet as well!! Close proximity to shops and restaurants (e.g. 1/2 mile from Alexanders fish & chips - the best in Maui) and , of course, 5 mins across the road to the famous Kamaole beach #3.
