We spent 2 weeks at this great complex in the middle of everything you need...restaurants, shops, and best of all 3 great beaches to choose from. The condo itself is spacious and clean. It's well stocked for almost any drink or meal and is comfortable to stay in. Close to the pool and step out from the lanai and watch the beautiful sunsets while the resident conch blowers gather to say goodbye to the sun. Very friendly place to stay! Mahalo for letting us share it.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Aloha, Thank you for sharing with us your lovely unit. Your condo is situated near the best beaches Maui has to offer. Kam III Beach is 100 steps or so away. It is nice to have direct access from your lanai to one of the two complex pools. With golfing, fine restaurants, shopping, and boating activities nearby, Hale Kamaole is idealy situated. For those who do not drive, the Maui Bus passes nearby. Over the years we have become regulars at Hale Kamaole and we feel it is safe to say that your unit is one of the best. We thoroughly enjoyed the upgraded bathroom and kitchen with the increased counter space. We felt very much at home. Aloha and Mahalo, Oma and Opa Oregon

The condo itself is spacious, spotless and very comfortable - it is like a home away from home with fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, all the things you won't get staying in a pricey hotel. The pool is lovely, clean and very nearby. The beach is literally across the street, one of the best smaller beaches before you get down to Makena. There is a small cove and lots of shallows for kids to play. We found the condo complex very family friendly but there were older guests as well, so it was a good mix. All the great reviews are true, we had a wonderful vacation. One suggestion - stop by Costco near the airport and stock up on fish, meat, veggies to cook on the grills. We tried a lot of restaurants in Kihei and overall found the food pretty blah compared to what we could cook ourselves. Also the poke at Safeway (not on the main road, worth finding because they have everything) is so, so good!

Hale Kamole and the condo have everything you need to set up home base while you are away. It's simple, bright, clean and of course Maui is beautiful with so many fun things to do. It makes having a great vacation very easy!

This condo is so wonderful. The convenient location to many beaches, and many other venues makes it just the right spot. The recent upgrades to the cabinets, and countertops makes it especially nice. The beach park across the street is wonderful and always so convenient to enjoy the sunset each evening.

What a great Condo, the grounds are nicely maintained easy access to the pool and the beach and centrally located. This was our second visit to Maui our first was on the other side of the island in a condo and this side was by far the best! We are looking forward to visiting again and staying in this unit!

Pretty darned perfect! When we came the place was clean, inviting, and very comfortable (we slept like babies!) We felt totally at home in the nice-sized kitchen and bathroom (this by NYC standards, anyway) and the front desk staff could not have been more delightful! Top that off with a beautiful beach right across the street...who could ask for anything more?

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and well stocked. The grounds are well maintained, the pool was nice and warm. The beach across the road is one of the nicer ones. The office staff were friendly and helpful. Katherine, the owner was very accomodating and provided lots of useful information. Overall, it made our stay in Maui a very pleasant experience. We would recommend this condo to others as well.

This was our first trip to Maui. For the first week, we stayed at a resort in Ka'anapali and the second we stayed in this condo. The experience in the condo was so much better! The condo had all the amenities it needed and was an excellent location. We walked Kamaole Beach every night before bed, the showers conveniently located on our way back to the condo. Great lanai, very well stocked lanai closet. Next time in Hawaii we will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the condo in early October 2007 and had a wonderful time. While the condo is located directly across the street from a nice beach, there are lots of other beaches to explore close by. The location is also convenient to shopping and resturants, and the proximity to Wailea is great! The condo has everything you might need by way of amenities.

Katherine & Dean : So many positives, don't know where to start : condo was immaculate, all appliances are new, 30 seconds to the crystal-clear pool from the main-floor lanai, all beach equip was provided - (towels, snorkels, umbrellas, beach chairs, cooler) , and no-charge internet as well!! Close proximity to shops and restaurants (e.g. 1/2 mile from Alexanders fish & chips - the best in Maui) and , of course, 5 mins across the road to the famous Kamaole beach #3. The condo was clean, spacious, affordable and located right on the beach! My fiance and I loved the place, and used the money we saved in staying there vs. a resort wisely in exploring the island and taking a helicopter tour. I would strongly reccomend it to anyone going to Maui in the future.

Owner response:Thanks for the great feedback - but just wanted to be clear with future renters - we're not RIGHT on the beach. It's across a small road, but just a one or two minute walk before your toes go in the sand and ocean.

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous week and 1 night in your condo in Sept 2006. The condo was clean and well cared for and well equipped with plenty of dishes, glasses, towels and even included boogie boards, coolers and other "beach toys". Very easy to get down to a great swimming beach - less than 5 minutes. Close to restaurants and shopping as well. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

This unit in the Hale Kamaole is highly recommended for its easy accessibility to the beach and amenities within the complex such as the office, pool, and barbeque areas. The outside storage room holds a large assortment of beach 'toys' suitable for children and adults alike. There are lots of pluses inside as well including well stocked shelves of games and books. The complex itself is extremely well planned offering a view of a large grassy area with flowering shrubs to all of the units. No unsightly concrete driveways to look out on here. A new washer and dryer was installed during our stay and it had a much larger capacity than what one expects to find. We feel that we made a wise choice and would definitely come back again.

I HAVE TO SAY YOU CAN'T ASK FOR A BETTER LOCATION ITS PERFECT. THE CONDO ITSELF IS VERY HOMIE YOU FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE THERE AND IT HAS ALL THE NECESSITIES OF HOME. THE ONLY NEGATIVE COMMENT I HAVE IS NOT TO THE OWNER KATHERINE OF THE CONDO BUT TO THE CONDO MANAGEMENT IS THEY SHOULD KEEP THE POOL OPEN A LITTLE LATER AT NIGHT THEN 8P. OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT WOULD RENT AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT. MAHALO AND ALL NEW COMERS ENJOY!

We stayed the week of May 8-15 and had a wonderful time. We found the condo to be spacious, clean and very well equipped. The furnishings and decorations were very tasteful and well thought out. The A/C in the bedroom was great and helped us sleep the night away. The location at the south end of Kihei meant that the traffic noise died down early. The short walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes before we were in the water. We hope to return next year.

We had an awesome time in your condo. It was so large, comfortable, well equipped and handy to beach. Wow! Out the door, across the street, grassy park and into the ocean. This first floor condo was perfect for us and 2 granddaughters and we felt right at home. Plan to return.

Katherine's condo is nice and clean. We never got woken up as it's very quiet there. Lots of toys for children in the shed that people can use(we also added to that). The grounds are kept up immaculately. Katherine is a very helpful lady who is nice to deal with. Thank you!

The condo was great. Everything that we needed was accounted for, even beach gear and a pool floaty for our toddler. It was very peaceful and quiet and the other guests were friendly and gracious. Kihei was very low key with lots of good local restaurants to choose from. I would definitely come back!

We have stayed in this unit twice and had a wonderful experience both times.Close to the beach,great snorkelling and boogieboarding.All kinds of nice little shops and eating spots close by as well.Fun meeting the other guests each night at the bbq and always a great sunset!Hated to leave and look forward to comming back again soon.

Great Condo. Hale Kamaole is a wonderful, friendly place to vacation. This unit is very convenient to the pool, barbecues and beach. Everything needed for a relaxing, restful week or more. A couple or family could have a perfect vacation from this condo without ever having to drive anywhere. All you need (pool, beach, stores, activities ) are within walking distance!

Hi Katherine: Maui was wonderful! We loved your condo. We returned late last night from Oahu, which was fun also. However, we all agreed that your condo was far better than a hotel on Waikiki. The kids loved the pool and running out to it anytime and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Everything was terrific and we will definitely recommend your place. We truly enjoyed our stay while on Maui at your condo. Sooooo much better than a hotel room and we would definately book again on a return trip to Maui. Weather was great, people at the complex were great, and the location is perfect. The barbecue pits are an excellent place to mingle and meet people after a day at the beach. Mahalo and I look forward to seeing what vacancies open up next year.
