Sit and quietly read on your private lanai or in the hammock under the spreading Lycee tree. Put on your bathing suit or trunks and head for one of Kona's many beautiful beaches where you'll swear that you are inside of an aquarium as you snorkle the warm waters.
The Garden Suite, as I call it, has lots of windows and doors overlooking my lushly landscaped grounds. The Suite itself is one very open room beautifully furnished. It can easily accomodate four people.
The decor is light, bright and botanical and features the artwork of local artist Shelly Mausley-White. There are kitchen facilities allowing you the ability for light meal preparation (no stove or cooktop) Lots of books, flat screen TV with DVD, and I have wirless internet service.
Walk into Holualoa town and browse through the charming art galleries and shops. Shopping for souvineers or ready for one of Kona's many fine resturants? A short,(12-15 minute) drive will take you into bustling Kailua-Kona Town where chances are there is a large white cruise ship anchored just off shore for the day. Yet you can return easily and quickly back to the peace and quiet of your lodging.
This location is perfect to travel either North towards Waimea, Hilo or the Kohala coast. Or South towards Kealuekua Bay, Honaunau
and around the Southern tip of the island on up to Volcano National Park.
