What a beautiful home--large, open floor plan with spectacular views of the lake! The modern gourmet kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes and an array of spices. The deck is large and provides seating for everyone. Enjoy the lake views, eat dinner on the deck, swim off the beachfront or take a kayak ride around the lake. This home has everything!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We just rented this home for the long wekend in Sept. I do nto think that it is owner occupied any more. We found that the beds we larg and comfortable. Ample towels and linens. As one reviewer wrote there is not enogh time for any T.V. although the electronics were more than adaquate. We enjoyed making smores around the fire pit out front, fishing, swimming, badmiton, paddle boating, kayaking and finally the canoe. Cazenovia is a great town with many good restaurants with live outdoor entertainment on the weekend evenings. The closets are all empty and so were the dresser drawers. although it was only eight of us (2 to a bedroom) there were I think two or three other rooms for sleeping. I recommend this property for an excellent escape from your regular life. It is a great way to slow down and relax. The owner has a great sense of humor and is more than willing to try to accomadate any of your needs.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

A quite a big place with lovely backdrop of lake. All the activities mentioned in the description are in fact less compared to what you will get there. We had lovely time kayaking, biking, playing all the games in basement. Also, owner was kind enough to provide us with lovely motorboat ride on last day in 4 milelong cazenovia lake. Best is outside jacuzzi with a view of lake. We did lot og cooking and owner did let us their utensils and in factg some of their food items. As owner live in same house when not renting, you would find every damn thing in the house. The only thing which I found missing was a big plasama screen but again with so many activities so has time for it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are a family of five, soon to be empty nesters! We began participating in home exchanges when our children were young- 20 years ago!. We met many wonderful people from far and near. As we increased our amount of travel, we began renting our primary home so we could rent someone else's wherever we wanted to go. We love living on the water and so I began my business: Stay and Play Vacations. We now own 4 single family homes which we rent to vacationers. We try to provide all the amenities for folks to thoroughly enjoy each location with all the comforts of home.
Why the Owner Chose Cazenovia:
The Water's Edge is an executive lakefront home built in 1995 and expanded in 2001. It is set up as a home away from home, all inclusive lake vacation.
